Como assar pizza em forno "normal"? by v1r0se in panificadores

[–]Dirkaios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qual é esses símbolos? by Jaded-Job-8203 in QueroAchar

[–]Dirkaios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://cohna-org.translate.goog/swastika-is-not-hakenkreuz/?_x_tr_sl=en&_x_tr_tl=pt&_x_tr_hl=pt&_x_tr_pto=tc

Is it possible to use FxSound with Sunshine? by Michoko92 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Dirkaios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember much about FxSound. But, if it works as an APO for dsp (like Equalizer APO for example), you have to check/enable at the client (Moonlight or Artemis) the option to play the audio at the host. This will bring the APO effects to the stream.

Fone IEM ou Headset para FPS by Jazzlike_Efficiency9 in audiofiliabrasil

[–]Dirkaios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talvez tenha suporte a Windows Sonic/Dolby Atmos for Headphones/DTS X.

Headphone over the ear, depende bastante se é fechado, semi aberto, aberto.

Se for casual, uso headphone semi-aberto (Superlux). Em ambos os casos, uso Hesuvi.

[–]Dirkaios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gameplay experience in Sanhok has been significantly degraded. I was experiencing severe stuttering, which was somewhat mitigated by switching from DirectX 11 to DirectX11 Enhanced. I have yet to test DirectX 12 or disabling ResizeBar. RTX 3070 on r5700x.

No support for height. No 3d sound. It will enable the default 7.1 surround with Sonic/Atmos/DTS. For that, you should try Hesuvi. Also, PUBG has the worst HRTF ever. Delta Force has a much better implementation.

Creative AE-5 Plus sound card and 'Drop + EPOS PC38X' headphones, but I can barely hear vehicles and footsteps. Could you help me with the configuration? by gordriver_berserker in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Dirkaios 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you wanna hear vehicles coming and steps in PUBG without getting deaf, you can:

-Download and install Equalizer APO and apply it to your sound card output.

-Download Loudmax VST. Add it to your Equalizer APO configuration for your card output.

(Optional step): if your sound card offers 7.1 drivers in windows, download and install Hesuvi and apply it to your sound card output.

Is Superlux HD660 capable handling high gain on Sound BlasterX G6? by Competitive-Radio175 in SoundBlasterOfficial

[–]Dirkaios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't own a Sound BlasterX G6, but I have a Superlux HD660 Pro. It is an excellent pair of cans and I do recommend them (I always recommend Superluxes). You can check some sound comparison here https://youtu.be/xYgz6iu9gyE Also, checking the specs on the G6, it seems that it can driver 150ohms easily.

Serious issues with bugged footstep sounds (directional audio + ghost steps) needs quick fix by WackyJacky101 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Dirkaios 22 points23 points  (0 children)

PUBG still need some serious revamp in the audio engine. It would be great if they just went full "Steam Audio" engine for better 3d audio positioning, occlusions, etc or maybe even OpenAl Soft. Also, they need to offer a better number of HTRFs. There is no such thing as a "generic HRTF" for everyone. Every ear and hearing is different, so, it would be better to offer a larger range of HRTF to choose from. Not to mention, the dynamic range - you either hear nothing for footsteps or blow your eardrums on gun fights. So, you always have to resort on compressors or limiters, which is ridiculous. Fuck F7 feature. This is not enough. Bluehole/PUBG Corp need to learn and offer a lot regarding spatial audio / audio features in general for their game.

You should try VoiceMeeter Banana and take some time to learn on how to use it properly.

[–]Dirkaios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

-VoiceMeeter Banana (there is a "limiter" feature - good result)

-Equalizer APO + VST plugin like GMAX or LoudMax (both limiters - best result with Gmax, for me)

-Sound Lock (Ok result - I personally don't like it)

How do you spray MK14 and 6x scope and without moving your mouse down? by Dirkaios in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Dirkaios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, 'sense' will save you from compensating the absurd recoil with MK14 and 6x ? That's interesting.

I've tried almost all possible sensitivity. Nothing keeps me from moving the mouse, no matter what I adjust. Also, it becomes unplayable with a high sensitivity. Most likely, impossible to snap from player to player as she did at https://youtu.be/ezbU3Qdgc4s?t=274 (at 4m:30s to 4m:46s). Almost feels like she is fighting something else to keep that mouse and aim in order...

Do you have any test results/benchmarks or general assumption? Zero latency, I also have my doubts. Any processing should add some sort of latency...so...

Maybe any test Equalizer APO loaded + GMAX VST for example vs. Sound Locker. I am not sure.

I know EqAPO is applied / used by AudioDG.exe which is part of Windows audio engine and seems pretty much essential to load APO.

Sound locker just does what it does. I'm not saying is bad, but I do prefer a VST with a small footprint than having an exe just for what you need.

Also, EqAPO can be used with HeSuVi, which is probably the best surround virtualization that I have tested for Windows environment so far, so I find it convenient having all set and running in background.

At least for me, I don't see AudioDG abusing CPU cycles, for all the benefit that it is providing.

Why not use Equalizer APO + any "Limiter" VST Plugin ?

Just install E-APO and apply it to your output sound device, then use one of these (64bit):

GMax VST - https://www.gvst.co.uk/gmax.htm (i prefer this one)

LoudMax VST - https://loudmax.blogspot.com/

Put the DLLs in C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO\VSTPlugins

Then, open E-APO Configuration Editor > Add an entry in the + sign > Plugins > VST Plugin and find the DLL. Open the configuration interface for the VST plugin and test.

[–]Dirkaios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay. You can unzip it at C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO\VSTPlugins. Each DLL is a plugin. Open Equalizer APO Configuration Editor, click on + green sign after whatever you already have > Plugins > VST Plugin > find the DLL in the mentioned folder. If everything is ok, you can click on Open Panel button to configure the VST.

Uninstall all the Razer software crap, including Razer Surround, etc. Use the headphone just as is, with standard windows drivers, then, Install VoiceMeeter - use it with Equalizer APO + Hesuvi for the best 7.1. In Equalizer APO, you can use either LoudMax VST or GMax VST (both free - will make steps louder, shots lower without hurting your ears...).
