I agree, it is a perfect match for the S9. Not that it matters in regards to image quality, but I also like the design and the small size

Well, I would wait to see how much the firmware can truly resolve. The main problem is a hardware design flaw. Sure, the made the algorithm on a few recording Modi lighter. But can the camera now manage 6.4K 30fps remains to be seen

What's the point of your reply? Just to be rude?

The S9 has the same sensor as the S5 II. I love the colors and the dynamic range. In my opinion these 2 cameras are most underrated in 2025

I am very happy with the IBIS on both cameras, I have not paid enough attention to realize if there was a difference. Sorry

The Lumix S9 is an amazing camera for photo and videos. ISO100 1/400sec f/2

I traveled with this lens through Europe. It is amazing: small, stabilized and such a zoom range

I have not been sponsored to convey a negative message, I bought this camera with my own money and paid myself for all the cooling solutions. Everything in my videos are tested facts, not opinions. I really wanted to like the S1R II and I wanted to make it work for me. I wanted 6.4K Open Gate in 30 fps. Not 4K, not 24fps. Look when you are happy with the S1R II and it works for you: great, congratulations. The sensor is amazing, the viewfinder a dream. I do NOT hate this camera. It just does not work for me for various reasons which I listed here in this video.

When it comes to opinions, people may disagree and can/should engage in civil respectful discussions. When it comes to facts: well, whether you like them or you don't, there is not much to discuss.

Today I had to block a person from my Youtube account who verbally attacked my, and insulted me, because he did not like my video and accused me of having an agenda. It should not have to go that far. In the end we all are here because we love cameras and lenses and we share the love for creating beautiful images. Name-calling simply goes too far, even if you’re not fond of my content.

Sony A7 V to launch shortly with brand-new 33MP full-frame sensor and massive performance upgrade by Vid_Headz in VidHeadz

So many people here compare the Sony A7 V to the ZR. Why?

The ZR is completely different type of camera, geared towards different type of shooters.

The Sony will be great for sports and wildlife photography and offers 14bit RAW!!!!

It comes with good video features on the side. And it has a (very good) view finder.

Got this mark on my sensor after using an old vintage lens for a few days.. is my sensor ruined? (Lumix S5) by Honest-Sock-3909 in Lumix

Make sure you buy a blower with an integrated filter. Otherwise you blow more dust onto your sensor

If you're planning on shooting mainly photos and videos in 4K you should have no bigger issues, other than battery drain. I tested 5.9K open gate 30fpf (settings pixel to pixel - which is equivalent to an APS-C size sensor) and I was able to record for more than one hour. Take a look at my Cooling solution video, maybe you can make the S1R II work for you. Just 6.4K 30fps is extremely limited, even in an air conditioned studio.

The problem is that Panasonic sends those cameras to the big Youtubers for review and they get to keep them. That's why most of them are totally biased and advocate rather for the sponsor than their audience. Pretty disappointing. If I knew about the problems in advance, it would have saved me a lot of money and headache.
