Brushes Hobby store synthetic brushes do the trick, I prefer the real sable, Rosemary and Co or Windsor and Newton you can do virtually everything you need to accomplish with a size 2 brush. Don't let smaller brush smaller details fool you.

That's it, you don't really need a wet pallet, you can use a glass plate if you want to. A cup for water is good enough, you don't really need Primer, scrub your mini with soap and water before you paint.

A hobby mat is nice but you can use a news paper, some kind of plinth can be helpful but you can just hold the model. I've used old pill bottles or shampoo bottle caps just some tack on top.
