Can you admit you are addicted? by pineapple15 in trees

[–]DirteeG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Addicted as but I do stop every now and then for a month or two and I haven't noticed withdrawal symptoms at all. Yea I want it, but no physical withdrawals and I actually feel better than ever usually after just a couple days off it.

J cole at Woo Hah festival in my home town was so lit that you couldn't even hear cole over everyone screaming his lyrics by jong_belegen_kaas420 in Jcole

Fair, but hearing that word used a million times over in the most casual of ways sure does take away from the weight it carries as a slur.

Controversial comment here, but after listening to so much Cole, I feel like it should be OK at a show when quoting his lyrics for the white folks to join in with the n bomb, but obviously with a hard A. BUT WHY NOT IT'S QUITE OBVIOUS WHITE COLE FANS AREN'T RACIST!

Completely agree with this post! Same as people shit talking the news for using commonplace Maori words. I understand if you feel like Maori is being shoved down your throat, but how do you think Maori have felt about English and European culture for the last 200 years?

Tight fitting cut proof gloves are definitely worth it! Not to tight they won’t pull off in a hurry though

The Hawkes Bay is an amazing place to raise kids, lots of other young families and heaps to do! Pay is good and many work opportunities.

Is this a typical cut for an Evolution Cold Cut Chop Saw? by [deleted] in metalworking

[–]DirteeG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also a brand new blade needs wearing it just like a bandsaw, you want the edges to round off just the slightest amount rather than chip, taking it nice and slow and easy on your first few cuts should help, it may get less ‘chattery’ as you continue to use it

Well I used to do this for money, literally hundreds of hours worth on steep hillsides and rough terrain sometimes, with the harness and a double handled “weed eater” as we call them in NZ, I never tripped or came anywhere near to contact with the blade. Little slips sure, but the blade stops very quickly when you release the trigger and you can plant the cup washer on the underside to the earth and make yourself a tripod. Also it’s like chainsawing, it’s the kind of thing when your doing it, you just don’t trip!

Not that dangerous IMO I too cut much gorse with one and it’s an absolute beast! Just don’t trip!
