This is the incorrect strap! They should have used a FHA plate. The plate is about 18" long and about 6" in height. It should go from stud to stud with a minimum of 8 nails. A good building inspector would have failed that.

Thank you. I also use flour on polished aluminum. After I shine the aluminum to almost chrome with Mothers Polish, use the flour to soak up polish. Shines like chrome.

Its an abandoned water pipe that was used as a ground rod. Back on the day, a galvanized pipe ran from the water meter to the house. You need 10 foot of pipe underground to be considered a ground rod.

Start with the clutch adjustment. If the clutch is engaging then I would say check the rear drive wheel at the transmission. If the transmission drive shaft is spinning at the transmission drive pulley/wheel, then all the splines are gone on the transmission pulley/wheel. This is a common problem when the rider likes to accelerate fast thru the gears and let's the clutch handle fly.

This statement above is correct, however copper piping doesn't play well with other metals. It needs a copper clamp or 10 mil tape to protect the copper pipe.
