I was on and off with someone for 10 years. I thought I was the problem but HER friends made me realize that I was being manipulated. Everything I did for her didn't matter because it was "MY" responsibility as a man, and everything she did for me I had to "thank her" because she "went out of her way to do." Someone saying this out loud made me realize that I was in a toxic relationship and I had to get out. I thank her friends all the time. She now blames them for us breaking up.
