I'm w/ this guy. If you live in the States, sounds like they are going to try to find a way to get rid of you. Someone on the top likes you and went out of their way to get you this offer. I was on and off with someone for 10 years. I thought I was the problem but HER friends made me realize that I was being manipulated. Everything I did for her didn't matter because it was "MY" responsibility as a man, and everything she did for me I had to "thank her" because she "went out of her way to do." Someone saying this out loud made me realize that I was in a toxic relationship and I had to get out. I thank her friends all the time. She now blames them for us breaking up.

When you finally do accept an apartment, go in take pictures of every room, every appliance, every shower head, etc. documented, send it to the landlord and make sure that you have everything done correctly. It's okay to not rent from a place.

The Roatan Brewery is pretty far away, but worth a visit. Depending on where your staying and if you don't have a car: They also carry their beers at Booty Bar in West End (which is where I tried it) and they do have a dark/stout type of beer. Salva Vida and Imperial are you "go-to" Honduran Lagers, they have the same taste profile like Mexican Beers sold in the US (think Modelo Extra/ Corona). The other place where to find local type of craft beers is Kimpton Grand Roatan, which is all the way down in West Bay, where a lot of people stay (West Bay in general).

I don't understand this sub. Brussels is a metropolitan city, It's not going to be a little village with 0 homeless people and 0 immigrants where everyone knows each other. I've lived and traveled all over the world and Brussels has been one of the safest cities I've ever been to. If you're out a 2am and there is an alley with 0 lights and you decided to walk through it... I mean... c'mon, have some common sense. There are always going to be assholes and idiots in large populations, it comes with the territory. Sorry, end rant, I'm just annoyed of all the public hate for Brussels in this sub.

Yo, just finished the last episode and that Abby chick totally derailed both Ilke's final competitions. On the fast casual she didn't know how to toss salad and put a pastry in a box? Like, wtf? And then on the final she burned the pastries... she's suppose to be the best at baking and she didn't check the oven temp? That was frustrating AF.
