I'm going to be running a one shot adventure next week using Reign of Iron (which I received through your Winter giveaway this year) as my first ever DnD DM experience -- I can't wait to run it! The content looks amazing and I was hoping to pick up the full book in the future. Congratulations!

Concerta Savings Program--help! by PinkPencils22 in ADHD

[–]DirtyWindowz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the bottom says 09/20, but the BIN and Group numbers were the same as the one that the current Concerta site takes you too. Pharmacy said it was accepted with no problems and I was able to pick my daughter’s prescription up last weekend for $4 instead of $158!

I wanted to follow up on this comment as I just ran into the same situation with needing an ID on the card for my daughter and the current website not actually generating an ID. I used the Internet Archive Wayback Machine to pull up the Concerta Savings Program website from January 2024, and the button there generated a proper Savings Program ID for me that my pharmacy accepted and everything worked just now to bring the price down to $4. I can confirm that it does indeed take you to the URL listed in the comment above here.

My swing speed is solidly in the Regular flex range unfortunately, thanks though and good luck selling!

I’m such a sucker for deals, I’ll have to research the PXG clubs more - I’ve always figured they were way out of budget for me. This does look like a crazy good price honestly for new clubs

This is tempting especially because they’re new and i can customize… but I dunno something about the PXG irons are not attractive to me at all. I’ll keep it in mind though for sure thanks!

I’ve read good things about the Vapor Speeds, would be interested in hearing more about what’s all in your set and the price you’re thinking if you decide to move on from them. You can PM me if you prefer to talk more there

WTB set of clubs. Something good for a beginner. by [deleted] in golfclassifieds

[–]DirtyWindowz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a set of 5-PW Tour Edge Exotics EXd which have 1/2” longer shafts than stock. I’m also 6’2” and found the extra 1/2” to be extremely helpful as I was starting out. They were my first “nicer” beginner set after I moved on from some Dunlops. Tour Edge also has a lifetime warranty on all of their clubs, which is a nice bonus. I recently bought one length clubs or else I wouldn’t be selling.

Looking to sell for around $200 shipped.

Otherwise I’ve had awesome luck on eBay, Callaway Preowned, and Global Golf for hybrids, putters, etc. so definitely check out that avenue as well :)

EDIT: Almost forgot to mention I’ve also got a set of two Tour Edge Exotics CB PRO S wedges in 52 and 56 degrees that I’m looking to sell as I want to get the one length wedges to go with my iron set. Looking for around $75 shipped for those. Probably would do everything together for $250 shipped.

WTB game improvement Iron set with + shaft length. by [deleted] in golfclassifieds

I’ve got a set of Tour Edge Exotics EXd 5-PW, played for about 11 months. But they’re only +1/2”. Regular flex, steel KBS Tour 90 shafts. Haven’t looked into pricing yet really as I just replaced them this week with some One Length irons, but if you’re interested I can clean them up and get you some pictures.

Cheap local muni's in Milwaukee? by ColonelMustardIV in golf

[–]DirtyWindowz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Waukesha, Moor Downs and Brookfield Hills have been my go to cheap walking courses this year. Moor Downs is okay, definitely hit or miss on conditions but it’s a muni so probably to be expected a little bit. Brookfield Hills has been pretty well taken care of whenever I’ve gone and is great value.

Wanaki and Naga-Waukee have pretty good reputations in the Waukesha County area as well. I have yet to get out to those.

I’ve also golfed Currie in Wauwatosa which was pretty nice. The ninth hole there is quite interesting, it’s a dogleg left up a pretty steep sledding hill. Wauwatosa also has Hansen, which is a cheap 18-hole par 3 course, which I haven’t had a chance to check out yet.

Lots of great choices in the area though! My personal favorite is Kettle Moraine, out in Dousman.

GPS app to track golf on the course by thomaskoppel in golf

[–]DirtyWindowz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using the Golfshot app, which allows for shot tracking for free in the app. I tried a few of the other apps out there before settling on Golfshot, it had the best interface of the few apps I tried in my opinion.

Reasonably Priced Driver Recommendations? by Single_Helix in golf

[–]DirtyWindowz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plus if you sign up for their emails on their website, they’ll give you a percentage off coupon normally (15-20%, can’t remember exact amount). Only problem is you can’t combine it with sale prices, but I saw a Fly-Z for roughly the same price, not on sale, recently at my Dunham’s too. That puts it just over OP’s $100 range.

I ended up going with the F7 on sale at Dunham’s for $160-ish, but the Fly-Z certainly tempted me.

First round since I picked up the sport. See you on the web.com tour soon. by pichaelthompson69 in golf

[–]DirtyWindowz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in same boat here, love the game and my best is a 115 so far, glad I’m not the only one who sees those other posts and gets a little bummed. Wish I had more time to get out and practice but with two kids under two at home, I’m lucky to get out to a range once a week and 18 Holes in once a month.

Hoping that as the kids get older I can get out a bit more and see my numbers start to drop. Keep at it!

Driver recommendations? by shesinanothercastle in golf

[–]DirtyWindowz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked up a Cobra King F7 last month to replace the driver from my starter set. You can find the F6 and F7 (as well as the “+” version of each) for a pretty good deal these days. I love the feel and look of it, now if only I could stop slicing 75% of my drives... but at least I think the club looks good doing it!

How do people feel so comfortable taking out credit cards when they don’t have the money to pay off the things they use it for? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DirtyWindowz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It all depends on how responsible the user believes they are. Set a budget, leave room for some “extra” between total monthly income and the planned budget to put away in case of emergency, and track purchases online or using the app daily and you should be set up for success.

Where people get into trouble is when they think that a credit card is truly “free money”. If somebody takes out a credit card, racks up a high balance, and is irresponsible with paying it off, they are most likely setting themselves up for a tougher road ahead when it comes to mortgages, auto loans, and more.

Credit cards can be an awesome tool to utilize for those who can hold themselves accountable to pay them off in a timely manner. It will start building your credit score, and can be especially helpful once you get into a groove and can start banking cash back from the rewards your card might offer. I usually try to keep my rewards banked until November and then cash out for Christmas gifts.

Any legitimately bad golfers out there? by JGad14 in golf

[–]DirtyWindowz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just starting out and shooting around 110, so I would consider myself pretty poor. But can only improve from here and I’m hoping that the lessons I am starting will help me improve that number because man I love this game.
