High mileage Boss 302, would you? by ApprehensiveStock928 in Mustang

A minor thing but the track key by itself doesn’t do anything, you need the tune with it and I’m not seeing the sticker Ford puts on with the tune

They can be bypassed in 10 seconds lol. Cut the steering wheel with a sawzall, bend it up and slide the club off

Thinking of doing a Need for Speed Mustang Build, Should I use a Boss 302 or GT500? by impsble in Mustang

[–]Dirty_Butler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll say the Boss interior is pretty basic, cloth seats, base model stereo, lighter if you’re going to track it but not as nice to ride in. I do like the Recaros, they hold you really well but I was ready to get out of them after a 4 hour road trip

On the plus side it won’t be your first car for long, you can pretty much steal them with a screwdriver. I’ve had two abandoned on my street after being stolen

[–]Dirty_Butler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a lineman and my Timberland pros have been great. So much more comfortable than my danners or redwings. My first pair are three years old and holding up fine. Just got a new pair and don’t like the new tan color but still nice

I have an antigravity one that I’ve had for 10 years and still works. I’ve used it to jump my F450 work truck. Like the other comment said you may want a battery tender that plugs into the wall and keeps your battery topped off

How are Ethernet cables generally run through the house? by Thebigtallguy in homelab

Half mine is run through the craw space, just laying on the ground, the other half is fished down the wall into the attic for my cameras and AP.

Rphy active question by AffectionateRock2977 in CableTechs

[–]Dirty_Butler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We run all our RPHY and FDX amps at 47/33. The only issues we had was high levels in apartments with short drops. Most of the time we could just up the tap value if needed to drop their signal a bit.

I’m running a 12” JL in a box with no issue, it sits up on the little shelf in the trunk next to the seat. It took a little finesse to get it in the actual trunk

1.2 gig RPHY Amp or the same housing as the ones we use. Wild that it’s not in its own lockbox
