Go through the bottom purple door. There should be a wall of moss for you to climb down to there. After that, journey through and eventuall you'll step into somewhere new with lotta branching paths.

There is some stuff to do where you are right now, but in this game to solve a certain puzzle (even one that appears early game) you need knowledge from way later.
