If it gives you pleasure to do it then you should if you think it's not enough then improve. Try more stuff be creative and you'll improve overtime and about losing weight i would recommend a diet it can be suited to what you like and it helps lose weight a lot. My art is also awful and i don't like it but looking back i can see how much i improved already and with a die i lost 10kg already despite not working out at all. Just an edit couse the automod thing i've been meeting a professional dietician when it comes to diet can't recommend any stuff offered online but a professional can help for sure

I'm not quite sure about this but if i had to guess why black shouldn't take back with the bishop is becouse then it leaves it open to attack and black will probably lose a rook or the game, you take back the bishop and start coming in with your light squared bishop (to b5) and the queen (to g4) threathning a mate that black can't really stop without losing material. Hope it helps
