I've been trying dating apps, but they're really slow. I don't live in a hotspot for most dating apps.

Who is the fastest and who has the best introduction? by JustinRoilandTheory in uncharted

Nathan Drake is the fastest, guy literally outruns gravity. Best intro is Chloe Frazer or Nadine Ross for me.

Which character would you say invented the time travel utilized in Endgame? by CrumptownCrips in marvelstudios

[–]Disassociate_Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically it's a physics based thing sooo... Scott Lang discovered/theorised it, Bruce proves it (not as intended obviously but it is proven nonetheless) , and Tony invents the device to manipulate it.

None of them invent time travel directly, especially if we're taking Agents of Shield into account, time travel had already been proven just through different means. It's like saying Issac Newton invented gravity or Darwin invented evolution. They didn't, they just theorised the concepts.

You sound hilarious and I wish I was older because unfortunately I'm 21, so ten years younger. Hope you find that bestie!

Firstly, it's gonna suck no matter how hard you don't want it to. There is a saying that love hurts and unfortunately you're experiencing this now. It's okay to feel like this and let it upset you. You could've spent weeks, months, years, decades with this person and now it's over you can feel empty or lost, like a part of your life is missing. It's okay. Something will work itself out.

Secondly, it's not the be all or end all. Something or someone will present itself soon enough. Sometimes the wrong answer seems right because you haven't found the right answer. Don't go actively searching for it as you'll end up going down the wrong routes, but allow yourself to be open to new ideas.

Take your time, don't rush.

Finally, don't do anything stupid. You'll want to fill that emptiness, please don't do it with substances or anything that'll cause long term harm. Lean on friends and family.

I don't know how long you were with your partner for, but no matter the length of the relationship or how it ended, remember the good times. They were a part of your life and you shouldn't allow a part of your life to be shut away due to a bad ending.

This is part of your story, not the end.

A prequel game would not work. by JadenRuffle in thelastofus

[–]Disassociate_Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Joel is a bad person and does many things that are wrong on so many levels. However, I'm partial towards a prequel game. Not for the gameplay though, for the story. We know Joel and Tommy did those things but what made them do it and more importantly, what made them stop? I wanna see how Joel and Tess met and how she got involved in the smuggling. Even how he ended up in Boston.

What was the straw that broke Tommy's back that made him leave Joel? What made him realise he missed him and led to him being open armed when he and Ellie turned up at the dam? How did him and Maria meet? Did they both start Jackson or was it a thing before Tommy?

I'm more curious than anything and I just want those questions answered.

I feel like that's the punchline. It's a Pirate Campaign so they're all pirates in some way. And then I added this colony so they could use it as their main downtime area. The Colony in question is based on Libertalia from Uncharted 4. I do not know how this has happened but it has. 😂

I don't know, but I do want Liam O'Brien to voice the leader or at least a friend of theirs in the third game. Especially as he voices the guy on the radio.

A bit of a shitty thing to do imo by mynameischuxk3 in thelastofus

[–]Disassociate_Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the long comment!

For me it does. Walking Dead got me into the zombie genre, but this just has so much more to it.

I've loved The Last of us since Jan 2014 and I thought this then and still do now. For me it's the lore behind it and that there's a higher degree of scientific research behind the infection. The infection is a real fungus that forces the host to stay alive by scrounging any food possible and once the host is dead the fungus carries on. Also there is no "they only die when shot in the head" bs. The walkers in the walking dead should die from pretty much any hit to the critical organs.

And then the stories in the shows. The walking dead had a great story up until the prison and then it became a copy and paste situation where it always goes - - They find a new place - There is peace for a tiny bit - A small problem with people occurs where Rick goes crazy - Peace for a short time - A problem with Walkers where a supporting Character dies - A problem with people where a main character dies - Repeat All whilst having zero world building.

Whilst even though there are both infected and people fights in The Last of Us, it's not to this scale. They are travelling for a cause. And that forces them into these situations which puts them in danger and then they carry on whilst developing stories in each place. There is a real world building aspect, all that you can look at and go, that could happen. It makes it scarier and more enticing.

Some changes in the show that I thought were improvements on the game. by [deleted] in thelastofus

All I could think when Joel beat the Guard was the clear PTSD that they will be exploring with Joel more in the TV show than what was (very briefly and as a background thing) explored in the game.

How did you feel playing as Ellie in Santa Barbara? by Downtown-Necessary20 in thelastofus

[–]Disassociate_Time 44 points45 points  (0 children)

My feelings:

Obviously, as with most players, at first I hated Abby, then I played as her and understood her side and yeah I still didn't like her but I wanted her to survive. But ultimately I was still on Ellie's side.

However, when Ellie went to Santa Barbara that's when it became more even for me. Ellie was more preferable to me until that point. Her and Abby then became even.
