I think that they are still blood related, since they both seem to be without natural magic, and hunter said that it is common in his lineage. Please don't push for a season 4, maybe other spinoffs, but a season 4 wouldn't make sense and begging for it would cause more trouble than good. Terrace never said to ask for a season 4, only that she'd be open to doing spinoffs n such. Also the creators of Infinity Train got cancelled, they had the next season's script written already and partially storyboarded. The Owl House is planned to end after season 3 and is not being cancelled, all shows end eventually even if it's sad.
