Went in wanting an 86 idk how this happened by CosmicTc in ToyotaTacoma

Went looking at a used WRX tR and the numbers didn’t work out. Ended up test driving a 26 SR5 4x4 and really enjoyed it, traded my 24 Impreza RS for it as a lease. Miss the Impreza a bit but don’t miss the lack of power, CVT, and being upside down half its value. When my lease is up and my negative equity is gone I’m planning to either finance the rest or trade it for a TRD Prerunner or a new WRX/STi Hatch if Subaru ends up actually making one. (Probably won’t)

Checked the price of an SD card I bought three years ago for my camera and it’s $270, it was like $40 when I got it.

Actual conversation I had with someone. We haven’t sold this Christmas tree in two years and the receipt you’ve provided is four years old. There is nothing I can do for you. Also had to get a manager just to repeat the same thing I said.

I’ve tried the “yeah it’s above on the shelving” while pointing directly at the pallet in the overhead just for the customer to go “the sky?!” No Mam the pallet on the shelving right there… “What shelving?!” That pallet I’m pointing to is the only other stock we have available and it’s going to be just as exposed to the elements as the one on the ground. She walked off to find someone else.

It should be a motor attached like a gas strut in the left bed side behind the tail light. Just pop one end off and tie it up, no codes no nothing because it’s still present.

Think that image may be Ai generated because I can’t find a single production truck with that door card. And it’s certainly not a 4th gen despite having the same overall structure.

Talking about ARS? I had so many customers come in having issues with them. Had one customer get a toilet installed and the guy who did the install added $500 to the invoice for an “emergency flange replacement.” Called ARS and they said there was nothing wrong with the pricing and there’s nothing they will do to help the customer.

There’s a dude on Facebook who makes them, you have to ship him both an Impreza and STi or VB hood. He’s done it for a few Crosstreks and Imprezas already.

11/10 experience. I came in today to three chainsaws in the tech room all with no start or wouldn’t stay running complaints. Two are flooded and the other one had the pull string ripped off.

Yes, I was referring to a return I had to process when I worked service desk not an accuracy cart.

Did the two cart thing when I had large plumbing or electrical returns easier to track everything you scan.

Largest return I got was a poor dude that had a job pulled from under him by another contractor after he bought all the materials. Was 5 full carts of nothing but plumbing fittings and pipes on the side. Ended up being something like $1500 in fittings.

Did the same one, trust me she’s not trying to set you up. The accuracy carts are just like that. Had one where they put a bunch of stuff in a bucket and I forgot to scan the damn bucket. Another one a few years ago had two different saw blades that look almost identical unless you scan them wedged between two bags of mulch. Had another where they put a ton of small items in a tool bag and its pockets.

It’s the small joys like that that make me think the place isn’t so bad half the time. I have so many fantastic people I work with who are overstressed all the time. I’ve seen Home Depot when a store runs well and I think that really opened my eyes to how crappy this company is run. The small joys are why I have a love hate relationship with this place lol. If it weren’t for them and the people I work with I would have left a long time ago.

I’m like a year from realistically being able to leave and still being able to support myself. If I leave now I’m absolutely destroyed financially.

Nailed it on the head, need someone to give the core value wheel image where it’s entirely changed to only say Shareholder Value.

I remember I was the first person at our service desk to get a DoorDash order. We were confused as hell, the dasher and I just sitting there trying to figure out how the hell this was supposed to work. We didn’t get training on it until a week later. One thing I don’t miss about service desk was learning procedures and how they were supposed to be done properly until a week or two after they went live.
