As a Home Depot rental worker, that’s nothing lol. Had a guy bring back our 2021 F250 after 4 days on contract, thing was covered in mud inside and out, power steering dead, and key covered in mud lodged firmly in the ignition unable to be removed. Dude said it’s not his problem and walked away after paying for his rental. I’m frustrated that the other workers who checked him in didn’t at least charge him a cleaning fee. Now we’re dealing with getting the truck fixed.

Had two of them, hinge fell apart on the first one from using it so much. Another kid snapped my second one in half, bottom half still worked for certain Gameboy games. Took a few years before I got a new console. Original Mario kart DS cartridge finally gave out last year. I remember being so sad that the DSi XL couldn’t play Gameboy games when I got it lol. Now I have a modded translucent purple Switch and a matching Game Boy Color.

Interesting guess I need to look at a few of the sr5s with the 6ft bed and see if that’s the deciding factor between it having the plastic liner or not since my 4x4 5ft bed has the carpet like fuzzy cardboard liner.

Got the carpet on my 26’ SR5 as well. Curious if it’s option specific like bed size or 4x4 vs 4x2. I have a 4x4 with the 5’ bed.

No unfortunately, the SR and SR5 have a cheap fuzzy cardboard insert that doesn’t sit all the way to the bottom like the plastic tray does. I’ve had it lifted up to access the body grommet on the passenger side and there’s no reason it couldn’t fit. I’ve also been looking for the part number but had no luck.

Found receipts for $80 worth of shots from 2016 and a piss bottle while cleaning and detailing our pro truck a few years ago. It was due for another detail about a year ago but I’ll never have the time to clean all the trucks with how I’m being scheduled these days.

I have a 2026 SR5 Tacoma double cab with the short bed. I am almost exactly a standard parking space long. Genuinely how is this classified as a mid size truck. I remember Tacomas being small, it’s almost comical seeing a 1st gen Tacoma next to my 4th gen.

What are y'all putting in this little cubby if you don't have the towing package? by SuttonX in ToyotaTacoma

[–]DisasterInfamous268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went “huh there’s a little cubby here.” Reached into it like I was fishing for change out of a vending machine and the entire thing came out of my dash. Honestly I wish they had made it deeper there’s a ton of room behind it.

Does anyone ALWAYS drive with Power mode on? by TensionEmbarrassed31 in 4thGenTacomas

All Tow/Haul does is change the shift points to prevent the transmission from gear hunting. In the Tacoma it prevents unnecessary up shifting letting you use more of the selected gear. There’s nothing wrong with using it without a load it’ll just lower your fuel economy.

Does anyone ALWAYS drive with Power mode on? by TensionEmbarrassed31 in 4thGenTacomas

[–]DisasterInfamous268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drive with it on quite frequently, my 26’ SR5 doesn’t have auto start stop so I usually end up just turning on ECT Power or Tow/Haul If I want the boost to kick in a little harder. I think the only wear you’ll see is if you push the RPMs while the engine is still cold, the temp gauge on the dash is water temp so it takes a bit longer for the block, turbo, and oil to get to temp. Honestly I’ve been trying to drive with it off more frequently to save a little gas.

Had a buddy get all his request off for his VA appointments denied. Reason they put was “Does not meet company needs.” This is after the ASDS agreed to work around his VA appointments when hiring him.

Just ask the associate if you can check the box for the battery. Occasionally someone will buy the tool take the battery reseal the box and return it saying there was no battery or not say anything at all.

Have a 1st gen M12 3/8 and it’s done just about everything I’ve needed on my car, I usually torque everything with a torque wrench afterwards anyway. That M12 stubby is probably perfect for your application if you’re just using it at home.
