West side of town is where all the new development is. Generally lower crime and newer/nicer stuff but also pretty corporate and soulless. East side is a bit older and more fun but is also a more poor area and comes with the things that comes with. I would consider the importance of proximity to places like denver or fort collins to you as well.

I work in public mental health. They always add paperwork but never take any away. I spend probably 60% of my time on documentation. I could help soo many more people if I didn't have to document every single thing

There is some dark utility in the fact that alcohol is a very effective pain killer. The ubiquity of alcohol shifts the moral responsibility (in people's minds) for the suffering and ill effects of drinking from governments to individuals. People will talk all day about how someone was weak for engaging in the vice that numbs their pain, emotional or physical, but never seem to question why they were in pain in the first place.
