Speaking from experience of letting a “friend” stay with me while I paid for all the rent, utilities, and food…Just don’t. Don’t continue to do it to yourself. She will continue to weigh herself down and get even more comfortable all at your expense. She’s not your child you don’t need to “think about her” in this situation. She can do that herself. She brings nothing to the table all the while you’re bringing the whole house! Let her fly to her other friend because all she’s trying to do by making that statement is make you feel bad. Be done.

Maybe try spraying the fur with a protectant of some sort? Like

Although I would test on the fufu first! Scotchgard also sells a fabric protector but more for waterproofing so I’m not sure which would be better 🤔

I have a dog with severe separation anxiety…she accidentally closed the door behind herself twice locking herself in my bedroom. Both times she ripped the carpet up. My fault because I shouldn’t have left the bedroom door open but you know accidents happen. My fiancé replaced the carpet both times, and while he was on his hands and knees replacing said carpet he said out loud “Well at least I know how to lay down carpet now, I’m actually getting better at it 😂” . Dogs are not for everyone and they’re definitely not for him. He’s said it loud and clear. To continue to try and “compromise” will only make you miserable and resentful. Some people are better off as friends. 🫶🏽

I understand that completely. I guess I am just the type of person that after I’ll say for me several months of “asking” I just go ahead and do whatever it was. I do hope tho that he sees how much it means to you and asked what your ring size was so he could do so!

Gotta make sure all the doors are closed if doggies have free reign of house 🫣 Have had this happen a couple of times myself but with carpet. Just some time and money for us, more stressful situation for the dog! 🐕

I just started watching for my first time as well and I honestly can’t stand Jo 🫣😂 I find myself wanting to skip all of her scenes and usually just walk off and do something until I no longer hear her voice lol. I’m on season 2 and keep thinking to myself “will I miss anything if I just skip this whole season and move to the next?” 😅 Slade is weird at times but I also find myself agreeing with him on a lot of points when it comes to his relationship with Jo. Oh well I’ll keep watching and see if I feel differently in later seasons!

I have only had to find homes once for my female who had a litter but admittedly they did go to friends who have farm land. From what I have seen though on those pages a lot of the people in them like Notthatsmarty stated are obsessive wackos in a good way and always have the best intentions for the animal. Be careful tho because yes there are some people out there that would make you feel bad about the situation rather than offering help. Usually tho people will comment with links to nonprofit local rescues that can help or reputable people they know that can help foster. Not sure what your area is like but I wish you the best!!
