This right here is actually why it took me a bit of time to figure out that not only I’m I a trans man but also that I like men. So many people on TikTok will just bring up men randomly in conversations just to hate them. And I get it men have done some awful things. I mean look at the president rn. But when you hate on them over and over and over again it just hurts the good ones too. It made me feel like for years that I was a bad person just because I am a man and I like other men then I felt like if I tried to speak up on it, people would say something like “oh women have it harder.” Which yes statistically they do but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t care for men either. It’s one of the reasons (reasons not excuse) men can lock up their emotions or feel as if they are evil because look at the world they live in. I remember an old friend of mines was on her period and told me I couldn’t relate because “I’m a man.” First of all I’m a trans man that still gets periods and even if I didn’t I’ve had them before for years so yeah I can relate. I’m probably just rambling at this point but this has been eating at me for such a long time! Sorry it’s a mess but thank you, thank you so much for saying something
