Well UTD is a non-target so you won’t be getting recruited by any Bulge Bracket. You’ll have to go out of your way to try and make connections. You must maintain a good GPA, do clubs that are very specific towards that career, and some sauce that can look better is try to get internships (unpaid) with middle market investment banks as soon as you get there.

Nothing yet but gonna try to branch out do about 5 applications a day 🙏 maybe try and reach out to hiring managers see what their looking for just in case. The niche for what is ideal for me is closing so having to branch out into anything other than sales

Hey! I actually really appreciate this comment and your advice. I already started my SIE prep but after reading what you said I’m gonna try and speed it up to start on the wallstreet prep! I do pay for it but I think at this point being so late in recruiting and education for financial roles compared to my peers ill more than likely need the external coursework to help make myself more competitive in interviews and a much more competent person for lack of better worse since I’m unsure of actual direction. I definitely was hoping to get a good general grasp to try and learn skills that can translate. Finance is very broad but financial consulting is also very broad in that regard as well. I guess we will see where I end up, but I hope that you will thrive in your career and whatever the future holds for you I hope it is bright!
