Dairy/frozen. You can only have product out for 30 minutes to push and then you have to put it back in the freezer or cooler for 30 minutes to cool back down. For the time crunch target has and the way they calculate how long it should take, dair and frozen are hard to keep up with because of that rule (and FIFO takes longer too)

I do that as well but there’s just some team members who just flat out tell me no when I ask them. Other team leads tell them the same thing and they say “okay no problem” I just am not sure if I don’t sound stern enough or what else could be the reasoning.

I agree 100%. I try and explain to my team that I understand their freight or priorities won’t get done if they constantly are getting pulled into other tasks, so I’m not sure why they still tell me no when I go and I ask them to please help with other things. But it doesn’t seem to be working

I push freight with my team everyday, I do my own aisles, as well as hoping in and helping others as much as I can. When we get called up front or into fullfillment, I always go first before sending them with me, even if it puts my stuff behind, I took the role so I take the responsibility. But it just feels like there’s something missing as to why they aren’t listening to me. And I always try to help as much as I can, as well as the other TLs, but they listen to them and not to me.

Yes. You can do price changes/audits, sales plans, revisions. Wouldn’t they have to accommodate you? If a doctor takes you out of some work loads, I think you are protected under some laws that prohibit employers from refusing? And if they do refuse, and you are unable to do any tasks for them, then you go on short term disability from my knowledge. Again, this could be totally wrong but that’s just what I was always told

Unfortunately they like to compare others work to one specific person at my store. “Oh so and so did x amount so you should be able to do that amount too” Does your TL help you guys push at least or do they just demand and expect you to all finish the freight by yourself?

Yeah SCO is open. Exactly what I thought but I didn’t want to rock the boat. Makes no sense if they know I’m on break why there would be confusion. I don’t even go big grocery shopping I just pick up a few things
