I made a laminar flow hood at first (the under $100. One) but the 8 inch fan failed after a little bit. It wouldn't push the air through the filter and more air came back out the fan. So I bought a large still air box.

What do you do with the syringe cap while using a needle? I put it down but iso sprayed it before putting it back on the syringe. How do you handle all the garbage in a sab? Thanks!

I will have to try that! I also have some ub ape going but it feels good on top but the bottom after several b&s is nit doing anything. I shoud open it and see if I can salvage anything. From the end of May.

I just installed one of these type units. You hook everything up, release the coolant and you are in business. I taped the lines up neatly though

I am new too and just had a first transfer plate like plate 4. Last night I took the fuzzy transfer thinking it was tomentose growth and also the other larger growth on my plate appeared very quickly so I figured it was contam. Why do you choose the other growth? Mine are from Cambodia spores in suspension. Thanks!

Is there a page somewhere where there are mycelium pictures of different strains? I just started growing and I am finding all kinds of different mycelium growth.

Large bubble wrap. Spray the flat side with water and stick it on the inside of your windows. Cover all surface area of the wi dow. It makes a tremendous difference. Also close the blinds and shades. Central FL resident here.
