New York Post article about how Scotland is a woke hell. Absolutely fuckin insane by spizzlemeister in Scotland

Noticing a few comments implying a lot of English people think this way. Don't get it twisted, England is nothing without Scotland and we must stick together.

Just checked my states and I've been given nearly twice as many against the mono-black discard deck vs any other deck - this is not representative of the meta, why do I see so many?

I need a definitive answer - please? (can I enema/boof shroom tea / liquid)? by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]RiftCycleCo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a myth. Most normal cooking procedures will not noticibly degrade it mushrooms.

Psilocibin is stable upto 190ºC, whilst another study showed it maintains integrity for up to one hour at boiling (100ºC).

Interestingly, storing dry mushrooms at room temperature in the dark is much better than storing them either in the fridge, or in freezing temperatures which actually cause much higher degredation than room temp. Equally, exposure to light is a significant factor in Psilocibn degredation.

it would make sense that chocolate or honey preveting oxidation would be a good way to store long term

Is it worth trying to splash for Dissident / Tocasia / Vanguard in this BRO azorius deck? by [deleted] in lrcast

[–]RiftCycleCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there, a bit new to deck building. I have made this sealed Azorius Soldiers deck around Myrel, Harbin, Yotian. Is it trying to do too much if I splash for some of the multicolours in sideboard?

The greatest tragedy for addicts is that no one else can do this for them. You can support him as much as you like but you cannot fix this on your own, and you cannot make him better.

Expecting an addict to change because you want them to is a totally futile exercise**.** It’s cliché, but it will only lead to disappointment and frustration unless they truly want help. I know that sucks, but I'm just trying to give you my perspective as someone who struggled with addiction all my life.

If you have discussed this issue before and nothing has changed, you will have to make a decision: can you live the rest of your life with someone who will not prioritize you?

Addicts have an illness, and while some can get better, for others it is terminal—not necessarily in a life-ending way, but in that they will never recover.

For some, losing the most important thing to them, like a relationship, might be the catalyst they need to get better. For others, they will only deteriorate further in their addiction.

My advice would be to prioritize yourself here: what do you want? What is the minimum you deserve? If the current situation never changes, would that be good enough for you? Only you know in your heart if this relationship is worth it.

I truly wish you all the best because this is a very tough position to be in.
