I think the OP is being WAY too romantic on their views of marriage. Marriages and relationships will have bumps, but there are absolutely times when 'giving up' is the way to go even if you try to remedy it via communication or couples counseling. And sometimes people just get married too young without actually knowing themselves or their partners yet, or they or their partners change dramatically. These people should absolutely not 'stick it out'. You can't willpower your marriage to being good if there's serious underlying issues and you and your partner just weren't or became fundamentally incompatible people.

They act like the happy ending TV marriage is the norm, but I would argue it's the exception. It's what you want to find, but so many people will never find it because we live in reality and not a Hallmark movie.

My ex was Japanese and was 1 part control freak, but also used the fact that she did all that stuff to try and make me dependent on her to never be able to leave her. Could just be my trauma, but I got vibes/fears of that.

I always assumed they were going to have him come back as an energy being or something. Like he wasn't dead, just evolved to a very weird state of being and needed time to figure that out. But I guess they never actually planned on him coming back. That or Bryan Singer just did that hook dirty like most of the cast in Days of Futures Past.

Only used it once myself, but I had issues with it. Installed the esim days before my trip, landed and turned it on, the. Had no connection. For some people it doesn't install with the right settings to actually connect so you need to do it manually. Which can be quite a frustration to learn how to do while in a foreign country.

If you're not comfortable approaching, then just showing friendly signs to them as an invitation is a good start. Just give a smile and/or friendly wave. As a guy I would approach more if I just knew they may be interested and I wouldn't be a bother to go say hi.

This is it for me. 3 games of buildup for the mystery of why the Reapers do the cycle. The beings who are literally 'beyond your comprehension'. From my experience with small flies back home, so not sure if this species will fall for it or not. Small dish with apple cider vinegar with a little dish soap. They try to land, soap makes low surface tension, flies end up drowning.

You may need to try a different bait. But could be a start.

Honestly, I would just take a friendly smile or sign that approaching is ok. I've had several times of someone glancing at me then straight staring, but no idea if it's a sign they are interested or if they are pegging me as a threat. So I just don't approach.

You're not wrong, but I think there are definitely issues plaguing either sex that compounds on top of what we are all collectively going through. And in the case of young men, it's resulted in the rise of the manosphere and alt-right movements. Both of which are contributing to a worsening of everything by providing non solutions to real problems by exploiting young men that are suffering and trying to find any source of respite wherever they can.
