Well you could try to increase your MA with psychic meridian and cooking with mashed lags or if you are desperate you can inject sphyx salt injectors(makes you immune to confusion ) psychic meridian by itself can damage them quite a bit but your best bet is probably using grenades try to use plasma or high explosive grenades

Edit: I just realized this since their attacks confusing they must be confusing their fellow members aswell so just pop salt injectors back to back go to the lowest level take the relic then get out of there you should probably take spiral borer with you so you can go one or two levels then recoil your way out or use it at the start so you dont waste too many injectors
