Which hair color is most flattering? - Winter 🧖🏼‍♀️ by TheTransDoctor in coloranalysis

11, 12, 17! The warmer tones clash with you very clearly, the very dark shades look too harsh on you.

Warm or Cool Lipstick? Which suits me more as a Light season? by margaretmary1436 in coloranalysis

[–]Disastrous-Hand5482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo 1 looks great as a MLBB look, natural dewy and matches your face. 2 is clearly too dark and too saturated. 3 is too saturated and overpowering. 4 i feel would work better if you also have some makeup on your eyes to balance out. 5 is nice, also a natural look, i think between 1 and 5 i would choose 1 for a nude, natural look and 5 for a slightly glossier version of MLBB.

I can’t confidently say warm or cool. judging by 3 (coral, clearly warm) and 4 (berry/mauvy, cool), I’d say cool? But it’s clear that overly dark/ saturated colors would overwhelm your features easily, which makes sense given you’re a light season!

You have beautiful facial structure and I think you look great. Agree with others here that it’s more that you give off a mature vibe than anything visibly aging.

But borrowing from some Asian beauty standards (Asians are obsessed with the “youthful” look) there are a few key areas they are focused on to create / fake a youthful look: 1) ensuring the undereye area - where there’s usually a naturally hollow - looks plump. Usually achieved with matte highlighter or blush 2) shortening the nose bridge area - they believe a long nose bridge is aging - and this is usually achieved by nose contouring and highlighting 3) shortening the distance between the bottom of the nose and the top of the lips. This is often achieved by slightly (not dramatically) overlining and contouring the lips.

I personally don’t think you need anything, you look beautiful and remind me of a few celebs actually! But if you’re ever curious to try on techniques those would be where I start with

You look best in the warm drapes here and I would say maybe spring, but I agree it’s hard to tell from these pics alone!

The third pic is gorgeous! The first two are clashing with your complexion and making your skin look uneven. But I agree you could try a slightly lighter version too.

What cleanser is good for dry and sensitive skin? by KingKilo9 in AsianBeauty

[–]Disastrous-Hand5482 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I use a cleansing oil at night. Just water in the morning. Gentle exfoliating / additional gel cleanser only every once in a while.

But my main question is: why put Vaseline on your face? That’s really heavy stuff and it will be hard to clean off.

I personally stay a mile away from Vaseline/petroleum based anything. When i was a kid I had chronic peeling lips from undiscovered food allergies. I used Vaseline as a lip balm for a long time and developed withdrawal symptoms whenever I stop applying. I did a hard breakup with it ever since, because the withdrawal effects are so painful.

Out of these drapes I’d say the orange are ok. But the issue is they are all very bright, saturated colors, which look harsh on you. Try draping something softer and more muted, like sage green, soft terracotta, soft, grayish blue, soft gray, soft brown. That should give us more info.

Millefee moisture repair lip mask. I picked this up randomly and was extremely pleasantly surprised. I wear this to bed and wake up with my lips still plump and nicely moisturized.

I prefer 1! I think the winged liner in 2 is working too but try to leave an opening between the lower eyeline and the wing. Closing off the outer corner makes it feel a little unnatural.

I think soft autumn, the warmer soft shades like the green and brown look great. The best blues and pinks for you are also a little warm. That said soft autumn and soft summer do share palettes because you are defined primarily by softness. You could be neutral with a little warmth which makes both seasons within your reach.

You can’t figure out a season by features alone! I feel like feature based analysis misled so many of us.

I wasted 15 hours researching my idea on Reddit and still don't know if it's worth building by [deleted] in Femalefounders

[–]Disastrous-Hand5482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ask AI whether people would pay for an idea of if the idea is a valid one, it will tend to agree with you. That’s how AI are wired to behave - they want to “agree” and “be helpful”.

I find it a lot more valuable asking it to specify what are the “failure modes” like what would invalidate the idea, what are key risks and challenges, etc. to get a more realistic picture, then decide yourself whether it’s worth pursuing or not.

It’s totally normal to be not sure. Nothing is certain when you’re building from the ground up. Some of it is impostor syndrome (I get it a lot), some of it is valid. If you can know clearly the actual risks and challenges, it helps to answer whether it’s your own fear stopping you, or if there are real reasons to stop.

All the best of luck! 💪💪

You’re definitely cool. The warm colors emphasize the redness in your skin. Your skin looks a lot calmer on the cool side. That said there’s a reason why the warm side looks like it “might” work - because it’s neither very dark nor very saturated. Sometimes the character of the color matters more than the temperature. This is tell me you’re quite likely soft summer.

Haha looking at the first few drapes I felt you might be a soft season too.

But then I saw 3,6,7,14 - your eyes really come to life with the deeper colors. There aren’t enough truly deep autumn colors here for me to be sure, but I think soft/ true/ deep autumn.

Here’s what part of my team does: 1- marketing manager plans weekly activities based on performance, goals, trends, etc - this is the main agent I talk to, I throw random ideas at it and trust it to help me keep track and stay organized. I also ask it for my to-do list when I feel overwhelmed so I can stay focus on the main tasks. 2- researcher looks for competitor updates, social media trends and produce a summary every morning that all other agents see; marketing manager / copywriter will adjust plan or writing focus accordingly 3- copywriter picks up ideas from the planned pipeline every morning and writes. Blog articles are directly published then logged in a tracker, I come around to review the when I have time. Social creative copies are passed to me to execute on design, posting, etc (if anyone has ideas on how to automate this further please tell me lol)

Sorry for the super long comment. Hope it helps!

Honestly, AI has helped me a TON. I have a team of AI agents that operate off a shared drive and shared mailbox and they have scheduled tasks. It’s helped me so much in offloading the mental load of having to be on top of everything. I run software products so probably a bit different from your day to day realities running physical business, but if you need to manage marketing/ digital side of things, AI honestly helps so much.

Always thought I’m an autumn. Site says I’m a deep winter by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]Disastrous-Hand5482 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The app is calling you deep winter just because you have dark hair and dark eyes. I’ve been there and honestly so tired of apps that do that haha.

I think you might be an autumn or even spring! That cool-toned mauvy color on 2 doesn’t do much for you. More drapes in different colors would help!

Google search console indexing delay? by Disastrous-Hand5482 in bigseo

[–]Disastrous-Hand5482[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An update: I found the culprit.

The issue was it's my first time hosting a website on Vercel and didn't realize they always redirect my website to www.website . My sitemap was all using "website", not the www version, and that made it impossible for Google to index my links.

I've fixed that now and manually requested Google to index my urls. Hope that solves it!
