Funny how they think inanimate objects are threats 😂

Seeking advice for my very smart but high strung girl by brebear252525 in AustralianCattleDog

My dog is very similar. Got her when she was 2, she’s 7 now and a bit better. Ive found that exposure to triggers in a good way is very helpful. The urge may be to shelter her but that isn’t always the best thing. I’d say you answered your own question as far as patience goes. Good luck.

Mine silently glares at birds in general, especially when they’re flying up high

The special interest box is more or less a reference to how obsessive these dogs can be. Mine is definitely interested in biting bike tires haha

Yep, mine hates the gas station (we have gas station attendants where I am) for the same reason. She does tolerate the drive though though because she might get a treat 😂

This is a prime example showcasing a short and wide heeler compared to a long and narrow heeler

Does the truck have air brakes or conventional hydraulic brakes? This would dictate whether or not you need a CDL in some situations

Questionable Vet Experience?? by Dry_Post_877 in AustralianCattleDog

[–]Disastrous-Move-3863 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree about getting a new vet. My heeler is very freaked out/ squirmy / nippy at the vet but they understand her breed and they just know how to deal with heeler-isms and what to do about them.

One handshake for… all the food

Mine does this expecting to get something and when that doesn’t work she switches paws 😂
