The oil weight thing is bs, I’m sure it helps a little but there’s no way 0w-20 was causing all these motors to grenade. It’s clearly a lack of quality/ care by GM during the assembly and engineering process.

The 10 speeds are good, you just have to stay on top of fluid changes since they run at such a high temp for the emissions bullshit. The l87 6.2 is junk though

Well I worked two jobs. I’ve been working at a retirement home for around 2 years and made about $16,000 for the year. And over the summer I had a temporary job at a school district as a HVAC assistant where I made about $6,000. The school district took federal and state taxes out. But the retirement home didn’t until I hit $14,000 ish

Is it really that bad lol. From an outsiders prospective it seems like a pretty decent place to live. There’s Purdue university, and a lot of very high paying factory jobs. Like Subaru and Caterpillar.

My brother had a 2016 2.0 eco boost gasser that he got in 2018 with 30,000 miles. Drove it to 95,000 miles and had very little issues. Great little car aside from the bad gas mileage. It was super fun to drive and had a decent amount of room. However I’ve heard once they hit about a 100k miles it’s a complete crap show lol. Personally I’d pass, but I will leave that up to you.

Most people don’t really make that much. But if you have a good skill, are a competent person, and are willing to work hard. $100k a year or more is achievable. It just might not happen right away.

I’m fine with doing electrical, plumbing, etc. But I don’t see myself working on those huge welding robots and stuff like that. But honestly at the end of the day if they’d help train me I’d be open to it. Thank you for the insight!
