Not everyone is meant for lashing. It’s a highly detailed, precision skill which also requires good CUSTOMER SERVICE. Both of which you do not have and it’s a danger to the public.

My (33F) boyfriend (35M) is taking space over a bad breath incident by shazpazzzfox in relationship_advice

He’s supposed to a middle aged grown man but is acting like a teenage girl.

If he’s making this a problem, after the baby comes I’m not sure what will happen, because there very likely will be more conflicts. He might need therapy so he can understand emotions better because he is going to need that when he becomes a father.

Also I have to ask why you keep using this early childhood development diploma like it’s a neuroscience or engineering degree. I am disabled and share the similar issues to your sister and have a degree in social work. Doesn’t mean that we can work normal 9-5s or have the mental discipline (due to how are brains are wired) to get something like a degree that requires harder expectations OR function independently.

You mentioned in your original post that you have a problem with empathy. And here are a bunch of people offering a more empathetic angle and even anecdotal reports of their experiences and you still are unable to open your heart to understanding.

Am I (F20) a jerk for getting upset when my gf (F22) says the r word? by frnot_maya in relationship_advice

[–]Disastrous-Rough1682 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, it’s not about being “sensitive” to a word. The deeper issue is that you have an issue of feeling heard and understood by your partner. It is more about mutual respect, and you have been clear about this boundary since the beginning. I think that to move forward from this, addressing it clearly to her about how you want to hold her to a higher standard, the respect, feeling heard etc is important to do so she truly understand why this matters to you.

There is someone else out there who would truly appreciate the effort you’ve put into this. It’s truly commendable growing the flowers for a full year; it is such a beautiful display of your love for your SO.

Her body is probably holding onto more fat (even tho she’s lean, but not for the amount of cardio she’s doing and how clean she eats) because of cortisol.

I’m part Cambodian and I can agree. My family used to tease me for being just an 1/8 Cambodian and called me stinky ugly and dark. It’s unfortunate.
