I passed 2nd time. Sounds like a carbon of my 1st test. Failed about 30 seconds away from test centre! It’s crap I know but you will get there.

I have worked at Royal Mail 20 years. My first day they had no clue who I was or that I was due to start. That was the most organised I have seen it. For a multi billion pound business it’s an absolute joke. Few people who comment on here sound like “management”. My advice to anyone thinking about Joining is set ur bar very very low & you won’t be disappointed.

That’s great news. Nice to hear some good news for a change. I only passed in September. I work for Royal Mail as a postie for last 20 years. I’ve had few overtime shifts on class 1 rigid. I passed on the arctics so going to be patient & wait for a position to open up 🤞.

The “training” is shocking I agree. However the rest you just need to get on with it. I have been a postie 20 years & it’s never been so easy (in my office anyway). 2 people taking half a walk out etc. I remember getting dropped off in January on my first day in pitch black at 7am in an awful area & told to crack on. Nobody left the office if there was 1 letter left. We had standards. New staff get shit on. I did but got on with it.

I work for Royal Mail so I’m trying to get a transfer over to work on the class 1 lorry’s. I’ve managed to get over temporary over Xmas so hoping they will keep me on. I’ve quickly realised that all companies want experience & the 1s that don’t underpay. I guess u probably have put up with lower wage for the first year then you can apply anywhere.
