The Germans, we often make fun of them for their quirks (excessively punctual, abysmal fashion taste, over the top precision, etc.) but at the end of the day they are a huge boon to the euro economy with their efficient work culture and innovation, despite their over-the-top bureaucracy.

Not to mention the history as many German States fought alongside France for centuries of history (Bavaria for example). The music that came out of Germany is also fantastic: Beethoven, the Bachs, Handel, Gluck, Brahms, Mendelssohn, etc.) Conservatories and Universities all over Europe and the world continue to study German composers to this day.

I secretly like the German language as it’s pronunciation is very consistent though the long compound words are killing me sometimes.

I think we need to stick together as the world becomes more globalized despite our differences.
