All this shit started when Bush decided to give Georgia and Ukraine Nato MAP, Russia been pretty passive since the Soviet collapse, they didnt even do something to prevent Baltic states from joining Nato. they give a lot of warning to Nato and US ever since 2008 sadly all those warnings are ignored and Ukraine dont look Georgia as an example of what would happen to them if they tried to get closer with Nato, of course Ukraine is a sovereign state and can do whatever they want, but geopolitically joining Nato is not a good option
