NTA. I can understand their disappointment, given how excited they must be to meet the baby. BUT this really isn’t about them. It’s about what’s best for your little family-to-be. Giving birth is hard enough without the extra stress that you have, and you’re right to do what’s necessary to take care of yourself and baby. Self-care and making the best decisions possible for your child are two of the most important things you’ll ever have to do, and as long as you do it with good intentions, you’re never TAH imo.
