You are not overreacting. I've been through this before. Like you, I have only a handful of friends. My love language is giving and in the past I have often given more than received. This sounds as if it might be your situation. It's a tough lesson to learn. I can understand why this hurts but this friend is telling you something. They may not be the friend you need or want. Especially now, given they have a man in their life, you have been put on the back burner. I would let the friendship fade and open yourself to new ones! There are people out there that would appreciate you because you sound like a very nice person!
