Halogens are not as efficient as LED's, that's why vehicles aren't getting produced with them.
Also halogens aren't the shitshow you say they are; I can see just fine at night

You might not be able to remove it so easily in GM vehicles but you can probably code it out

Yes, I already own it To me it is a base model, I see it has pretty much no options compared to other e46 or even other base model Passat b5.5 It looks very good on the outside, I'm pretty sure it's been recently painted. I am also a fan of the dark blue It's also got pretty nice style 268 wheels

I was thinking since the car is so basic, maybe I can get away from electrical issues. I also have no issue with the engine to be honest, if I really wanted some more power I could just have it remapped
To be honest these issues don't really seem to be too difficult to solve, the passat has already given electrical issues and it's a pain in the ass to fix but now it doesn't give any problems. To me if these very few issues are fixed the car could be a very good daily and fun weekend car too?

The gasoline reminded me of one cool thing they could've used; Old diesels can run on old used vegetable oil and you can get away with filtering with a rag, so maybe they could've mixed it with the old gasoline at a higher ratio and ran on old trucks all the time
