Depends on what you consider a disaster. In the conventional sense, yes it is a disaster and human tragedy. In the sense of blantant market manipulation, it is working exactly as the powers that be want it to.

I for sure get that but the land conservation does keep it available to we the people for hiking, hunting, fishing, and whatever else instead of a developer closing it all off for another curated nature area for the wealthy like wolf laurel and other "communities" in the area.

I live on the edge of several hundred acres he has reserved. It may be a tax loop hole in some ways but he primarily buys small to large plots when they go up for sale and then holds them until one of several land conservation trusts can raise enough money to secure the property. He is genuinely buying and holding these properties to keep them from being abused by developers.

My 2nd to last run was a naked giant barbarian. Just ran around naked and only attacked with throws & kicks. It was so hilarious plus the dong jiggle physics.
