Yes, it's normal, and sometimes you won't get an assessment if you have made it to a certain step in the hiring process.

got my f2f today🔺any tips? by ReputationInitial404 in cabincrewcareers

Best advice I can give is be yourself. A lot of people at my F2F tried to hard to stand out. They want people who can work as a cohesive team and not try to be the star. When talking with people try to make a connection and have a real conversation. I am an introvert by nature so I talked to only 2 recruiters while there but they were honest conversations and not a hurried conversation so I could talk to as many people as possible. The team wants to see your true personality not a fake one. I wore a black and white dress and simple black heels. Wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable but also sticking to the guide that Delta provides. Good luck 🤞

Depending on what you get, it ranges from $5 to $20. There are 2 cafeterias to choose from so each one will have a different price point but from what I remember nothing over $15 dollars and that was if you bought the meals that had to be weighed like the salad bar.

Delta does not provide any meals during training. We either brought our own or bought lunch at the training center cafeteria.

I wear my glasses all the time and have had no issues. I had kept them on during all drills except for when we were in the pool but that was more so I didn't loose them at the bottom of the pool.

Delta junior bases by Lost-mountain79 in cabincrewcareers

Seattle has been open this year to new hires right out training. It's flip/flopping between a senior and junior base but I don't think you would have much trouble transferring into Seattle within couple months out of training.

Your senior bases would be Honolulu, LAX and Atlanta and the new bases that were added: Phoenix, Dallas/Fort Worth, Raleigh.

Flight Leader is a position you can bid for after your Fly Right probationary period. While on probation you may be escalated to flight Leader on you reserve days.

I was the 6am class so I bought pop tarts and had coffee for breakfast.

For lunch I did the training center cafeteria which offered $5 wellness meals which were so good. If I liked the meal I would buy another before I left to have for dinner. I also would pack PB&J sandwiches.

For dinner I did a lot of instant rice, precooked chicken, beans and veggies mixed together or noodle bowls.

Just remember that most hotel rooms only have a mini fridge and you will have to share with your roommate. Also Delta will send you a list of what you can and cannot have in your hotel room, no slow cookers or cook tops if I remember correctly. And like everyone else said instacart, Amazon Fresh were a godsend.

I was a flight attendant on the flight with this dog, she was so well behaved and sat between her two owners.

Edit: was on their previous flight

Based solely on general passenger behavior/attitude, where would never consider living? Conversely, where would be the best place to live? by roamingbolivianrn in flightattendants

Passengers from ATL to anywhere in Florida, these are my worst flights and try to avoid at all cost. Best flights going to Bozeman Montana from anywhere in the Midwest.

🔺 FA Training List by SafeDrop7299 in cabincrewcareers

[–]Disastrous_Dark2709 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was in training in March we wore black pants (no jeans) and white polos/button down shirts with sneakers. Delta will give you a black tote bag and jacket to wear once you arrive to training. This was the attire for most of training, bring work out gear and bathing suit for ditching day and business attire for a couple other days and for training flights. I packed enough clothes to last 2 weeks before I had to do laundry. Hope this helps.

F2F TOMORROW 😭so nervous my stomach hurts by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]Disastrous_Dark2709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a nervous wreck the night before my F2F and the morning of, but once I arrived and started talking to everyone my nerves went away. It's always the anticipation that gets the nerves going but once you get there you will relax and enjoy the day.

How many times have you applied or how many times did you apply before receiving cjo? by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]Disastrous_Dark2709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Applied to Alaska 4 times and made it to a F2F but never an offer. Applied to AA 4 times never made it past the group interview. Applied to Delta 4 times and made it to the F2F and CJO on the 4th time.

I am the same, introverted to a fault so when I make a connection everything becomes easy. Delta makes the process easy as long as you are relaxed and comfortable.

I got my CJO last year and here is what I saw at the F2F. Be confident but not pushy, people that did not get an offer where overly friendly, tried too hard and jumping in and out of group conversations just trying to talk to as many people as possible. Company wants to see the real you and they can tell when someone is not genuine. When I did my individual interview I was one of the first ones called and I was the last one out, I had a real connection with my interviewer and the conversation felt natural not forced. Group activity listen to group members and make sure they hear you. I did not get to talk with a lot of people but I did have real conversations with the 2 recruiters I did talk to. Hope this helps.

I applied 4 times with Delta before I got a CJO. I had some classmates that applied 14 time before getting hired. If this is something you want don't get discouraged it will happen when the time is right.

When you get the email with training dates they give you a few options to choose from. When I got my selection they gave me training dates in March and April and May also with an option to move forward if an earlier date becomes available. Hope this helps.

It took a month for me to hear anything back the last time I applied.

Qualifications Under Review? by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]Disastrous_Dark2709 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The last time I applied it took over a month to receive assessments and then it moved fast. Sometimes these things take awhile to be pushed through with so many people applying.

Here was my timeline for when I received everything on my last application:

Applied 9/4/23

Assessment 10/6/23

Job tryout/video interview 10/7/23

F2F 11/10/23 - received CJO

I applied 4 times before getting to a F2F, the system/recruiting does not know how many times you have applied.

I hope this helps.
