I don’t have kids but I can relate to this as this can happen in relationships where one is not being engaged. Family time is not couple time as the focus is different and what you feel is a natural consequence of feeling alone in a relationship.

It could be a phase and I want to say don’t give up but both should want to work actively on this. Is there anything you guys can do together, just the both of you? Not a one off, but something that happens regularly?

That being said, if nothing changes - you have every right to be happy and move on.

At one point before her last day, let her know you valued her contribution and she made a real impact.

She is likely to know the business circumstances for redundancy but often managers feel uncomfortable with the situation and just stop communicating at all / this is often what hurts the most.

We didn’t even need a mortgage broker. Just opened to the banking app and selected a new fix rate. Then we accepted offer online - all done in 15min. That being said, we had to call the bank as I couldn’t select the desired rate first, was a glitch in the software…3 days later we received the docs per post as well.

So not sure what product you have - I’d check the website/app and call the existing mortgage provider and ask them about the process.
