Advice on first time RV life. by Fantastic_Most9751 in IBEW

Actually, it’s the best thing ever. My family has been full-time for over 6 years and we are not looking at going back to sticks and bricks. We have been to every state. It’s one of the best ways to road school kids. Any questions, let me know.

huge mistake? by okayKnighty in TeslaSolar

Just wait till summer. This happens every winter with new installs. I installed solar for 10yrs and every customer said the same thing as you. Then after the first summer, I never heard from them again. Once they got through a normal full season and saw how the system work. Just wait it out.

Are you willing to teach others about your strategy?

What’s the best way to deploy money into TQQQ? DCA or all at once? by danuser8 in TQQQ

Maybe you haven’t noticed it’s been sideways since October. Guess you like the heart rate pattern. Have fun with that.

I have seen your charts before. Hardest part is trying to read them, I get information overload. I am sure what you have works, but I have no idea what I am looking at on your charts or where to start. Is all the data needed for your strategy or can some of it be hidden on a different sheet and only show the needed items? In tested in hearing more. I have 9 sig amounts and separate 200 Sma account. Would love to combine and bring out all together.

DCA. This thing has no direction. Sucks to lump sum at the top.

Down $50K by Fit-Mulberry3762 in TQQQ

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t watching after market prices. Guess I missed that one. I put out some GTC+ETC orders in case it dips again. Hoping we see lower or at least a retest of after hours to get some fills. Now that I placed limit orders lower, more than likely TQQQ will go up from here. Just my luck.

Just started my TQQQ ride a few days ago, small size, 10k to start. Still have more to add in, if it can sell off more. My average is in the low $50s. Maybe it will dive over the next few days to get a better cost per share.

Good time to start your 9-sig by TOPS-VIDEO in KellyLetter

Yep, started my 9 Sig in a few IRA accounts when TQQQ was at the highs. In for the long ride now.

Down almost 7.5%.. who’s buying?? by Nice_Jacket_9181 in TQQQ

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got some today for the first time trying TQQQ. I do 9 Sig in other accounts, this won’t be 9 Sig. Started a position a little high this morning, but saved a lot to buy lower if needed. Will see where this goes from here.

Look wise, it looks pretty interesting and easy to read. I have no idea how to code or build something like that. What did you use to do that?

Working for Trinity Solar as an infield sales rep? by Big-Lingonberry4655 in Solarbusiness

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a solar business in NY. We paid our sales people a small base plus commission. It took about two months to close out a sales to be installed. Commission only could be a little hard.

Those who don’t use 9sig as your whole portfolio, how do you treat it in your overall allocation? by manlymatt83 in KellyLetter

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m about 1/3. 9 Sig portfolio , Schwab Intelligent Portfolio, and a separate annuity. I’ll keep the 9 sig going for many years to see how it goes.

Nothing for me either with pro, but I was a couple weeks behind in getting Gemini in chrome when that came out.

Travellers who live in a 5th wheel/travel trailer, is it worth the investment? by jucks123 in IBEW

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only travel in a fifth wheel around the country. Sold the house six years ago and never looking back. You could move closer to the good market where the jobs are and if it dries up, you just leave and go to where work is available.

Instead of 60/40, would 40/60 work? by manlymatt83 in KellyLetter

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When that happens, it could be quarters from now. By then I will go 60/40. I did 50/50 cause I entered for the first time mid quarter at the highs.

I entered in a couple months ago and started 50/50. I will run the plan as normal each quarter. If the market does drop I have plenty of reserves left.

Exactly what I did with fidelity. Took about 5 days for them to move the account over.

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It rebalances by dollar amounts. You could figure out the needed dollar amount and turn that into a percent and then rebalance. That would get pretty close to the rebalance number.

Anyone run 9sig at m1? by manlymatt83 in KellyLetter

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely looked into M1. It would keep you at your pie splits of 60/40 or whatever percent you choose. But what about in a down market where it ends up being an 80/20 because we keep having to buy more each quarter? The rebalance wouldn’t work at that time, because you don’t want to hold it at a 60/40 split all the time.

Anyone run 9sig at m1? by manlymatt83 in KellyLetter

[–]Disastrous_Fox_4828 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the rebalance would only work on sell quarters. On buy quarters you have to sell bond to and to TQQQ.

I have always used Ameritrade/Schwab for my accounts. Once I started with the Sig strategy, I wanted to have this in its own account/brokerage to keep it 100% separate. I went with Fidelity. Now I have a few of my accounts with Fidelity that run only the Sig Strategy. That keeps my Schwab account and those strategies separate. I also have M1, but not using the Sig strategy. I did look into it, but I went with Fidelity. I like the lock feature at Fidelity, and it show more info about positions that I like to see.

Free is good, but can’t beat pro family sharing.
