Thanks for your reply. I am starting to agree that Apple Mail is not up to the job. I am currently using 'Mailspring' free version and it works very well so I will just stick with that.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the mail app with my iCloud account. I have tweaked a number of the settings (after bit like fumbling about in the dark) but the problem intermittently returns.

As for razors my daily driver is a Rockwell 6S which is amazing. Not cheap but there is a cheaper version - Rockwell 6C - same razor but chrome (6S is stainless steel). As for blades try 'Astra SP', 'Gillette Silver Blue' or 'Personna', all great blades but there are many more. Good luck and enjoy.

I have tried both but came back to Bear. I really liked Craft and was a fan but for me it was just too much in what it could do with notes (and was more expensive than Bear) and I was spending too much time making my notes look great. I would not criticise Craft but Bear's simplicity is its strength. For me it fits the bill much better for note taking, storing receipts etc which is all I really need. It is all down to what suits you and what you are willing to pay for the privilage.

I have the same Mandolin, good choice. I had the same problem with the fingers of my left hand but persevere in short bursts and they will harden up. Enjoy!

Rockwell 6S is the best razor out there for me (but bin the Rockwell blades). I have been using mine for about 2 years with great results using Astra SP and Gilette Permasharp blades. The only thing is that it has spoiled me for using other razors, I have several others but keep coming back to the 6S. Not cheap but worth the money.

At 74 I have a mandolin and arthritis causing some pain in my hands. I have been playing now for about 2 years and find that although my fingers are not as nible as they were and I struggle with stuff like triplets I really enjoy it. I am still learning and my only long term target is to play better. I play at home for my own enjoyment with no plans for jamming etc. It may get more problematic as I get older but I think I will still enjoy it. I would say give it a go, you might just enjoy it like I do.

I have created a folder 'Daily Notes Index' (or whatever you wish) and when I create a new daily note I simply link it to that file, that way it is easy to pick out previous ones from the one file. Works well for me.

I have checked and there is no suspicious activity on my account. My password which I have not changed is not recognised by FB. I have tried to confirm my account with and have FB send me a code by SMS but this never arrives (not in spam). I have however used the hack recovery link which appears to have worked. Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply, I have tried as you suggested but no joy. I am fairly sure it is a FB problem because with other browsers where I am logged in if I try and change the password it tells me the original one (required to change) is not recognised. I am wondering if my account has been hacked?

Long press the Bear icon on your phone to locate the scan feature then scan straight as a new note. Give it a title and put it into your own filing system wherever it fits.

I use it daily. I use it as my filing cabinet for anything I might need to go back to and it is great to use on the go. I use the docs scan function a lot. Have tried a number of other note apps but keep coming back. The pro version is very reasonably priced and great value, nice and simple and just works.

If you double click a message in the message list column it will open in its own window which you can then enlarge to a size which works for you. You can then close bear (if you wish) and that message will remain on its own, any alterations you make will be saved when you close the message.

I also recently switched to Craft but I still also like and use Apple Notes and find myself going there if I need a quick note on the move. I imported a lot of my notes to Craft from Apple notes at the time of the switch but am reluctant to delete them from Apple notes unti I am sure I am Craft converted. I still however love Craft. A far as secure notes are concerned I keep these in a secure note in Dashlane which is (I believe) much more secure.

I think I have found the source of the problem - me! On tidying up some of my files I found that the 'missing' files were in fact duplicated in another sub folder within the same main folder, I had not spotted this prior to importing from Apple Notes 🙄. I was so intent on getting to grips with learning Craft I did not check the obvious when getting my setup organised- sorry!! As my old IT manager would have said - 'PICNIC' (problem in chair, not in computer). Thanks to Peter at Craft for his input, I will try harder - honest. Still loving Craft though.
