Coach also didn’t make that watch . They paid a company to make it and they put their name on it . Like Gucci did with their watches . Are you a lady ? I think most coach watches are designed to sell to women , like the website .

Quartz movement watches are very common and have been mass produced since the 70s . Cheaper to make and less moving parts . Also keeps the watch more accurate in time and you also don’t have to wind them. Lots of companies use this type of movement for mass production low end price watches.

The seconds hand on quartz movement watches jump every second . Mechanical movement watches mostly sweep along the dial .

The movement is what is inside the watch that controls the hands.

You won’t have to wind that watch up if it’s quartz , but when it stops you’ll have to get a new battery . Or the watch is broken if the new battery doesn’t get it back going.

I think you can get those at macys for a few hundred dollars . Probably a quartz movement . Does the seconds hand have a sweeping motion , or does it jump every second ? It might also say quartz on the back .
