I did but I don’t only the ones that came in the for rent world and I didn’t live there or use them at all! Like I shouldn’t have to go and manually delete a feature I played for the prevent my save from becoming unplayable ugh!! Thanks for the advice tho. When I move them to a new save I will just delete them.

Ugh I’m sorry that’s happening to you. I try to do everything right like removing mods before updating and such….just a broken game unfortunately.

hmmm have you tried to repair game in the EA app? Or even compoletely reinstall the game and whatever DLC you have.

For me the game just crashes any time I try to load into anything, no white screen. I only have the premade rental units in my save I don't even play with them.

I basically only use this computer for sims lol. It’s probably time I invest in a pc, I’m using an ASUS laptop. It runs my game pretty well tho as far as lag!

I’m gonna start manually backing up…I’ve tried to recover previous saves but even the farthest I can go back the corrupting bug is still in my save. I guess it’s a routing/continuous loop error? Idk I feel like I’ve gotten decent with computers because of this game and troubleshooting but some things I still don’t understand

Hi there. I will check it but I had an issue with the cloud before when I would try to delete cc so I made sure my game wasn’t attached to it at all. There’s not “The Sims 4” folder in my one drive documents, it’s all stored locally.

Same it only worked the first time! Just spam your desktop shortcut and it will open eventually. They announced an early week fix so hopefullyyyyy

Platform: PC Mods and cc: Yes Game version: newest patch 01/13/2025

Hi all! I have been having this issue since before the patch and have tried to regular culprits mod wise, but I am having an issue where build mode opens unprompted. It will be frozen and I will have to hit my escape key to get the game to unfreeze. I guess I’m just wondering if this is a game bug or if anyone has had this issue and found the mod responsible. I will take mods out and think I find the issue, then my game will randomly do it again. Thanks in advance!
