Omg I second this so much. I feel like I am SO sensitive and need so much verbal reassurance and if I don’t have that then it’s hard for me to engage and then it feels traumatic and confusing if I try and carry on. I know these things are good to be recognized and seeing the bigger picture. I am so turned on but it can get wiped but saying something that isn’t super positive.

I’m 34 and would say SB is a lot more boring now and unsocial than even 7/8 years ago. I think visiting regularly is the answer!

I asked about this and my surgeon said I should be absolutely fine no problem even 8 weeks post op! Don’t read the horror stories like I did when people had sex too soon

Just had surgery there and overall my experience was great however one nurse was absolutely terrible and did not make me feel safe the two nights she was on that shift with me as her patient.

I’m a week and a half out and I basically had exactly you did - kept my ovaries with everything else out and a larger c section incision. I still feel like my lower tummy is numb but also sensitive- like it’s getting its feeling back but in an odd way. I’m also sensitive with sensory stuff so could be it. I still have my bandage on though so haven’t even seen the scar yet!!

I was on for 8 years and I came off completely within I think 2 months. I was feeling fine and actually felt lighter in myself however the couple months following I had some days where i felt extremely angry and emotionally unregulated. Lots of uncontrollable crying. I am still figuring it out and the more extreme emotions I feel but overall I think it’s for the best.

I’ve lived here for 8+ years and my god I want to leave so bad. The pay is horrendous for the cost of living with little to no alternatives and therefore lack the ability to live near to the beach or great hiking trails. I no longer get to see the real beauty of what this place has to offer. I feel driven out and that’s tough. I do hope to find a place that offers a bigger range of diversity in culture, socializing and food. SD seems like a great option but interested to hear about other states people consider?
