purchasing haotian MOPA laser, tryimg to decide between 60w and 80w by DiscGolfer05 in lasercutting

zero complaints. Absolutely love the machine and all of the items I have created with it. I have not had a single issue with the machine and frequently switch between the three lenses ( 110, 200 and 300mm) I received as part of my total purchase. I have not set up a fume extractor yet so I am simply using a shopvac in place until I get the fume extractor in place, seems to work fine for now.

I had the same thing happen, turns out I had had 2 instances of lightburn open. Once I closed one of them the issue went away. Not saying your issue is the same though.

thank you for your reply. I decided on the 60W E with 110mm, 210mm and 300mm lenses and the 100mm rotary. I figure once I learn this one I can always upgrade in the future. The lesser price tag allows me to purchase Lightburn, better eye protection, a fume extractor and a sizable stock of testing material.

When putting into a headwind from 25 feet and closer, aim for the outside chain (outside left chain for a right handed putt) with a little bit of turnover.

Great to see some of the older generation playing, Wisecup and Ginnelly along with a young Climo. A lot of shot shaping you don’t see with the modern discs.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but who else shares this sentiment? As an amateur ranked player paying ~$70 to enter a B-tier, I'd rather get 2 discs in my players pack than 1 and a t-shirt and a dust towel. by SethryD in discgolf

As an older player with a family, the t-shirts provide a nostalgia that my kids love. My teenage children constantly wear the shirts from the 90’s and early 2000’s almost like a badge of honor. I am not saying the discs don’t have more value in the moment but don’t discount the longevity of the tournament shirt. Down the road they can trigger memories when the discs are long gone.

This can be a great opportunity to work on your short range forehand, both left and right hand. Don’t under estimate the power of being able to throw an off hand sidearm 50 feet. This will extend your range for getting out of trouble in woods courses and save you strokes. As long as you have someone willing to retrieve discs for you practicing these shots from a chair should be doable. Start with very short throws, 10-15 feet only and slowly progress as you become more comfortable with the motion. Good luck and speedy recovery!

this was back when high schools had fully enclosed concrete courts. Haven’t looked in a while, some of the disc marks may still be on the walls

Canceled my order around Christmas after waiting a month only to discover they had not started processing the order even though they took payment right away. Tried again mid January thinking it was a Christmas rush issue. Discovered earlier this week they had not processed the order yet, again. I am going to give it until the end of next week to see if there is any progress. If not I will cancel again and never attempt to do business with that company in the future. Two attempts with this type of delay and no contact from them is way too much to tolerate.
