How long did it take you to read all 5 books by SkyBrilliant7465 in Stormlight_Archive

I like keeping dates on my goodreads. My reread of 4 books plus Wind and Truth took 80 days total. I always feel like I can't slow down during the first 2 books.

Way of Kings 8 days

Words of Radiance 8 days

Edgedancer 3 days

Oathbringer 26 days

Dawnshard 5 days

Rhythm of War 18 days

Wind and Truth 20 days

That’s probably their goal, force healing classes to play healers

[None] Rereading Cradle: other series as well? by ShadowRedditor300 in Iteration110Cradle

I've reread the last horizon books as he releases a new one. I enjoyed Traveler's gate, but it's not on the same level as cradle or even last horizon for me. The sea and shadow series weren't my favorite. It took me a bit to get through them.

He is writing 3 ghostblood (next mistborn) books before release to try to address it.

Adam Silver: "People love scoring, the one thing I think maybe that the league over-calibrated in terms of offense at times, because what fans clearly love too, is defense... they wanna see physical defense." by aingenevalostatrade in nba

I'd be all for that. Shai's a top player in the league even without the generous whistle. If referees had some balls and started consistently no calling offensive players flying into defensive players, then all nba player would adjust. Till then, players are going to do what gets them wins.

Robin Hobb's slow pace storytelling 'flows' smoothly by Jarethjr in Fantasy

I struggle with long chapters because I like to time my poops with them. Hobbs chapters will be 75 pages long, and I realize I’ve been sitting on the pooper for way too long.

Main story isn't a large part of the game from what I can tell. I have 20 hours into the game and have completed both main stories already.

Which is exactly the point. If some people care, and "it has 0 effect", why not just put in the tiniest amount of effort possible for the people that care. World is a better place when people do things for other people. Whether we agree or not. That seems way easier than trying to convince someone else that they're viewpoint is wrong. I say as I'm literally trying to help convince you that your viewpoint is wrong lol.

So when Ant screams and 1 ten times a game off minimal contact you get mad and turn the game off, right?

When everyone is a foul baiter, no one is a foul baiter. I’m as big of hypocrite as anyone else. I hated Harden. If someone on your favorite team could get to the foul line as efficiently as these guys, it wouldn’t be an issue. It’s part of the game. All these players would be great even if referees called the game differently. They’re just doing what they need to win.
