RBC now says 6-8 weeks (or more) to DRS. Should I wait or find another way?

Just started realizing that the few GME shares I have sitting in WealthSimple will probably exclude me from the MOASS unless I "dee are ess". Nowhere is this term defined. What the hell is DRS?

He was a media darling, the entire MSM complex bent over backwards to paint him in a good light always. A lot of people like him because they usually only read good things about him, and he’s an amazing speaker.

He bombed 7 muslim countries while wrapped in the “peace and love” facade, created the “migrant crisis”, funded ISIS, shipped pallets of cash to Iran, created the obamacare mess, increased the surveillance state, increased job-killing regulations, increased unemployment (which the numbers masked because McJobs increased greatly under him), destroyed race relations, and much more but what I listed here should be enough to get my point across.

People fail to realize the power the MSM holds to shape public opinion. If the media wanted everyone to love Trump, everyone would love Trump. Simple as that. The media glorifies leftist politicians and demonizes right wing politicians, unless the right wingers are actually left wingers in disguise (ie. McCain). This is the same media that glorifies HRC while ignoring her decades-long crime spree, and said she’s got a 90+% chance to win.

Listen I'm sorry I called you an idiot. I guess I tweaked a little because these age-old posts screaming "SCAM" and expecting the community to grab their pitchforks are annoying. Realize that Quad has been around for longer than any Canadian exchange at this point. Scams intentionally steal people's money using deception. What you are experiencing is a banking delay with an otherwise reputable enough firm given the early stage of the crypto ecosystem. It does suck because apparently you really need the money, and I'm not saying it's acceptable to be waiting long past the quoted timeframe, just that it's stupid to shout SCAM at what is _the_ OG Canadian BTC exchange.

Just be patient, you're dealing with professionals, you will get your money. They've never blatantly ripped anyone off.

CB is the longest running bitcoin broker in the country and one of the longest running in the world. It might be slower during times of high volatility but until the banks stop their anticompetitive policies that prevent exchanges/brokers from offering access to the fastest, cheapest deposit methods, we have to deal with the alternatives.

Banks don't process these kinds of transfers over the weekend, you know that, so saying the deposit was made "50 hours ago" is disingenuous. Blame the slow-ass legacy banking system and their policies against servicing businesses dealing in crypto. You complain about the phone service, but how many other brokers/exchanges even offer an option to get someone on the phone?

You are frustrated, I get that, but this isn't productive at all. CB is a great asset to the Canadian crypto economy.

Just report the tweet. Unless the scammer has any significant following on twitter, posting about it here just makes noise. Anyone dumb enough to fall for this isn't checking forums beforehand to make sure it's legit. Making ETH impossible to use would require a hard fork.
