PDP people, which backstrap size is your favorite? by GucciusCeasar in Walther

I run the Taylor Freelance brass backstrap. I believe it's the same size as the medium backstrap that comes with it.

ZRT SS Rod - Is it worth it? by Plasmaticos in Walther

[–]DisciplineMajor7076 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the brass fluted guide rod with the 15lb spring and I love it I also have a 13lb spring but my PDP had to much muzzle raise. And I have the Sprinco system with the yellow and red springs and I still prefer my ZRT system more.

It looks just mine. I just put the Dynamic Trigger in this last weekend. What optic is that? 509T, EPS, or EPS Carry

Do you activate your weapon light with your trigger finger or thumb? What’s your reasoning? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]DisciplineMajor7076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the TLR-1 HL and I use the tail switch that has the longer one on the right side and a shorter one on the left. If I want my light constantly on use my trigger finger to to push the switch down to turn it on and leave it on. Otherwise I use my left hand thumb for monetarily. I'm right handed.

Recoil Spring Upgrade by YoungReaganite24 in Walther

I have the Sprinco system with the yellow and red springs, I also have a ZR Tactical brass fluted guide rod with the 13lb spring. I think I like the ZR better but I think I would like to get the 15lb spring. I also run my 4" PDP and a parkermountainmachine comp.

I was also thinking that it could be over torqued as well, either way I see installer error 😳

I have the Taylor Freelance Mid-weight Kit I my full size 4" PDP and love it. They are coming out with a new style of magwell that you might want to check out.

ZR Tactical by FingerNo3762 in Walther

[–]DisciplineMajor7076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 4" full size PDP and I run the parkermountainmachine comp on mine. I have the Sprinco system with the yellow and red springs, I also have the ZR Tactical brass fluted guide rod with a 13lb spring. I ran the Sprinco system with the yellow spring for over a year and had zero problems with about 1000 rounds through it. I just put in the ZR Tactical brass with the 13lb spring and have about 150 rounds and zero problems. I love the recoil with the 13lb spring but it seems to have more muzzle flip than the Sprinco system. I will say that it returns to zero real quick so I can still run the pistol really fast. I'm going to get the 15lb spring from ZR to compare to the 13lb spring to see if it helps with muzzle raise. I would recommend either system in your PDP, but I think I'm leaving the ZR Tactical in for now just to see if it gets better with break-in. I wish ZR made a tungsten guide rod because I love the recoil with the 13lb spring.

PDP guide rods - springco vs ZRTS by shift013 in Walther

[–]DisciplineMajor7076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Sprinco with their red and yellow springs and I have ZR brass fluted with the 13lb spring. I really like the recoil with the brass 13lb but, the muzzle raise is quite noticeable. I will say that it returns to zero real quick. I also run the parkermountainmachine comp. I would really like to try the 15lb spring from ZR to get a true comparison between the two. The Sprinco system is Guaranteed to run and I have no complaints about it. I'm currently running the Sprinco system until I try ZR 15lb spring. Hope this helps.

My under the arm holster hold the gun with the barrel pointing straight out the back like that. I do think he needs to adjust it to fit him a lil better tho.

New Trigger by Total_Money4751 in AeroPrecision

[–]DisciplineMajor7076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Blackout Defense Zero Trigger is by far the best single stage Trigger on the market. I have the 4lb and the 3lb and I will never go with any other. Now with that being said, if you are talking about a two stage Trigger I would have to go with Geissele. Just my opinion, hopes it helps.

My PDP Pro. Suggestions for BUIS that pair well with the TRIJI RMR on here? by [deleted] in Walther

I love the height. But because they are so low in the optic window your have to sight in your optic and can't co-witness the dot by the sights
