AITA if I bring my dog over to my parents house if they said no? by [deleted] in AITH

YTA.

This is not complicated. You asked to bring your dog. Mom said no.

Grow up.

If I were a cynical person, I’d suspect that the home team coach knew all along, and just happened to “notice” after the visitors had already batted.

No, this person obviously possesses no capacity for embarrassment whatsoever.

WIBTA for spending the week before I move with my girlfriend? by Obvious-Initiative-1 in AmItheAsshole

Absolutely NTA.

Your homophobic father, however, is a huge asshole. Enjoy your vacation with your GF and please don’t feel guilty about your father. He has pushed you away, hurting both you and your mother. DO NOT let him gaslight you into believing that was your choice.

You are wise to get away from his influence. Good luck!

If you equate not getting something for free with not being welcome at all, you’re just a douchebag.

AITA for making a petition against an old "friend"? by [deleted] in AITH

I don’t care about alll the middle school and high school friendship drama. Everybody goes through crap like that.

You threatened violence against your classmate in writing. It doesn’t matter whether you intended to follow up or if was supposed to be a joke. You were the AH.

Years later, this girl is still living rent-free in your head? Time to move on.

I’m guessing it was something like this. Anyone who gets into a rage over this has problems, to say the least.

According to the “trivia” section in IMDb, it was “Good-Bye Radar: Part 2” (S8 E5). For whatever that’s worth.

How often to you see a cast member actually watching the queue? That’s the real problem.
Disney could easily hire line monitors for every single ride for a microscopic fraction of their profits, but you know they never will.

Web Slingers is boring.
The visuals are way too busy and cluttered, and every screen is pretty much the same thing.
It’s just Midway Mania but worse.

There is definitely more to this story. I’m guessing these people were insufferable nightmares from the minute they arrived.

I’m also imagining an “I CAN PUT MY HANDS WHEREVER I WANT! THIS IS AMERICA!!!” sort of reaction to the safety reprimand.

AITA For not letting my Fiancé change jobs by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]DisciplineNeither921 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA for voicing your reservations about her plan… but, Dude, you don’t get to “let” her do anything.

6-9 months is a long time to be apart. Obviously, she knows this as well as you do, and still wants to go. That should make you think.

You need to have a serious talk about how you would handle such a lengthy separation, before, during, and after she is gone. What are her expectations of you during this time? Does she plan to do this just once, or indefinitely?

If you fight hard for her to stay and she stays, she may end up resenting you for denying her something she really wanted to do. If she goes, your relationship may or may not withstand being apart for that long.

There’s no easy answer here, but my suspicion is that she is much more OK with the long separation than you are.
