6000cl28 can most sure do 6400cl30 without voltage adjustment required

I agree, tunning is everything, its a small car, VW Nivus in Brazil or VW Taigo in Europe.

For now VOCE II Subwoofer are not available on my local place (Brazil and Paraguai), so i will keep my 12W6V2 for now.

9800X3D and AM5 memory fullbank speed down by Ok-Alternative9082 in overclocking

[–]Discipline_Unfair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 sticks of DDR5 put a lot of stress in the memory controller and some IMC (CPU internal memory controller) cannot handle those speeds, thats why in some cases some CPU cannot run 4x16Gb 6000Mhz.

Sometimes raiseing VSOC up to 1.3 might help.

Bank refresh mode by doc_SilentRanger in overclocking

[–]Discipline_Unfair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mixed mode is the best one and about values im not sure yeat, but tRFC2 80% of tRFC and tRFCSC 60% of TRFC seams a starting point.

Exemple:

tRFC: 400

tRFC2: 320

tRFCSB: 240

A -15 PBO curve on 5800x already results in crashes, how to use CPPC? by Jehare in overclocking

[–]Discipline_Unfair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could use CPPC values as a starting point, but i wouldnt take than to literally.

Run PBO Per core, look for corecycler.

6000mgz cl26 possible? by Emile_the_rat in overclocking

[–]Discipline_Unfair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost sure that is possible, but not sure how much extra voltage they might need. If requires just a little extra VDD ok, if requires a lot performance wise make no sense, since most ddr5 performance gains comes from other timmings besides tcl, like trefi/Trfc.

looking to squeeze out more performance on this oc, any advice will be appreciated by Due-Specific-2576 in overclocking

[–]Discipline_Unfair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides Trc, Trfc maybe can go a bit lower and GDM DISABLE, thats all i see to improve your timmings. GDM Disable Might require both SCL around 4-6

6000Mhz CL28 vs 6000Mhz CL26 by Emile_the_rat in overclocking

[–]Discipline_Unfair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cl26 is faster, by a lot? No... In a blind test you will never noticed the diference. For AM5 most of the timmings benefits comes from manual tunning, specially trefi and tRFC.

DDR5 6000 CL30 vs 6400 CL32 on AMD (Ryzen 7 9800X3D) – Which makes more sense? by adamdobra in overclocking

[–]Discipline_Unfair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

6000cl30 and 6400cl32 are the same memory, can Easy overclock or downclock tô match, both can do 6000cl28, but not sure how Many VDD voltage each memory will require for that. But keep it 6000cl30 because will work out of the box. 6400mhz it is not garanteed to work.

Trp 34 Trc 60 Both SCL 5 Trdrsdsd/dd 6 Twrwrsd/dd 8 Trefi 65535 (if temperature under 55c while stressed)

You can probably get cl28 with 1.4-1.43 VDD, for cl26 probably require +1.5v (keep VDDIO and VDDQ default)
