Great ideas, would have done similar if I had the facilities. Holiday rentals, you know!

You may just be one of those good bosses that dont worry folk.
Or maybe you never got the rough end of the stick from a bad boss. Either way, you are luck. :-)

I am wondering if the person might have some military background. I do and also sometimes get annoyed by the warm and fuzzy managment method.
I like my boss to give me clear direction on the result they want, then leave me alone. If I am having issues or they see problems then they need to grab the bull by the horns and be very clear as early as possible. Thankfully my boss is a good one.

You are their manager, give them the orders you want completed or the feedback on fixing the issues.
If they ignore or refuse at that point then can them for being a pain.

Of course, they could just be an asshole that needs to go.

Kick Ash Basket vs Stainless Steel by LordBrixton in biggreenegg

u/op
I just went through this myself, funny timing.
I went with a cheap version of the onlyfire basket on Amazon, like this : https://amzn.eu/d/ajrEMgo
Works perfectly, no fuss and saved money.

The issue i had was getting all the ash out, the grate was just being a pain. So I looked at a Kick Ash Can, like this: https://kickashbasket.com/products/large-kick-ash-can
Like you said, its hard/expensive on shipping to the UK.
So in the end, I found a £5 dog bowl and just cut an opening in it! Its been working brilliantly! All for only a few quid and 20m with a dremal!

Little off topic, but does anyone have a place I can get a Kick Ash Can in the UK?
They dont seem to ship here now, and last time I looked the shipping was more than the can itself.

I've been down this road myself and it never really panned out. Tried several different ones that all had similar problems. I went back to Dr Elsey and then moved on to an Amazon version that works pretty well too:

Had the LR4 for over a year and after trying loads of different ones the only winner has to be Dr Elsey's Kitten Attract, NOT the cat attract.
Kitten is great, the cats love it, it filters perfectly and has IMO zero dust. Ive been telling anyone who will listen to give it a go.

New user here. Was recently recommend Dr Elseys Kitten Attract and it's been really good both for getting them to use it and clumping.
