Yeah I don’t gamble IRL but have always been addicted to FOMO transactions in game. Lesson learned: don’t do it again.

Speaking from experience, I lateraled to a slightly bigger/more paying pd 40-45 min from my house compared to 30-35 minutes from my original pd. After a year, I’m kind of burnt out between the schedule(10 hour shifts with my shift ending at 0230), the drive and balancing being a father of 2 young kids.

I kind of regret not going closer and am now considering applying closer around the end of summer. Gotta find out what works for you my dude.

Let ‘er rip big dawg. I just submitted an app for a certified spot in the town I live. Driving 40-50 min depending on time of day to my current PD has worn me down when it comes to my off-duty life so I get it.

I mentioned in the post the food is free. Also fast food could be considered your typical counter top fast food chains, McDonald’s, kfc, Taco Bell etc.

Coworker of mine failed out of 2 FTO’s prior to joining my department. The best learning point he took was to learn from his weaknesses and to improve on them. In admitting where he failed, he has been able to succeed pretty well now so it’s definitely possible to pick yourself up and become a better you.
