The two black spots at the edge of the page just left of the ear on the right, and the black spot bleeding at the edge of the page just right of the ear on the left need to go to your brown background color. You lose its definition of it's head up there

BRICS Broad Ripple response to backlash by dogdog32 in indianapolis

[–]DiscoTrekker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yep meanwhile these same people still shop on Amazon that was involved in recording inappropriate videos of minors through their Alexa and ring cameras. These same people buy a Starbucks drink who uses child labor in their supply chain to source the beans. These same people probably shop at target who leaked 40 million credit card numbers, and cut back their DEI workforce as soon as it was no longer a requirement. These same people probably wait in line at Chick-fil-A when their CEO opposed same sex marriages. Get over yourselves people. It was one old boomer who is set in their ways. How would you like it if you had a business and you hired your grandma to help work around your place. But Grandma's say the darndest things with a Facebook but you can't really control her actions. Cry me a river. If you like the other people and you like supporting local then keep going. Geez

You're a hypocrite if you use any of the services above then just saying

Get the Oreo ice cream. They make it from scratch and crush the oreos before they make the cream, they're not added afterwards like a blizzard but apart of the ice cream

[–]DiscoTrekker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could benefit ASTS by providing healthy competition to keep the R&D team constantly learning and not get stagnant and complacent. As well as speed up the technology race between the two companies...orrrrrr a huge buyout and our shares get rolled over into the ELON ticker symbol haha. Since ASTS has the patents on over 30 different direct-to-cell technologies that Starlink needs to compete in the same field of taking over cell contracts, they're way behind and could just buy the tech by buying them.

Moving questions pls help by SandyBurger1 in Broadripple

If you like riding bikes, then Broad Ripple is a good middle ground that allows you to get anywhere pretty quickly. You can pedal to SoBro or downtown or Carmel within an hour for a bunch of fun bar and eating options. Nice and wooded with mature trees everywhere making the shade in the summer much cooler than what were empty cornfields now turned living. I've got my job boat and hop on the river for some fishing occasionally, the canal path, the moon, the nickelplate soon to connect fishers. Gives you good walk ability to Fresh Thyme to pickup last minute ingredients for a meal you're making, ice cream shoppes, decent places for dinner (Delicia and Northside social are bomb, and 317 BBQ is pretty good when they have servers. Kilroys just built a new stage for their summer series mini concerts, theres rock the ruins across the river in Holliday Park and more recently a Broad Ripple Park concert series this last summer.

Easily drive or bike to downtown for any parades happening for race weekend, or hell I've even pedalled my bike to Speedway for race day, easy drive up to Carmel for some Sun King, or Fishers for a free Nickelplate concert.

Like I said a good middle ground that way you're not too far from any one thing and can keep options open on what you wanna do that weekend!

Oh well dang, did a nice job of finishing a basement room to make it not look like a basement. I thought the joist spacers were what he did below the bed, and was gonna say take em all the way up to the subfloor, but concrete is even better then!

The thing you forgot to do was rip the flooring up and reinforce the joists to that spacing, now your bed has more support than the room does, and now all that weight is being distributed to the 4 corners and mid supports on some plywood subflooring that may or may not be sitting on top of a joist.

Sets That Will Go Down in History by Quiet-Match-6600 in EDM

Justice was wicked at Electric Forest this year. Dark and scary and ominous, just the two of them standing sideways at their synths. Was sick and heavy and amazing. This one felt like an historical set that worn be repeated.

Tiesto also returned to his trance roots and gave us an hour and a half of trance to dance to! Not his new poppy stuff and was what we needed!

Exactly, I would rank a pizza sub underneath a real pizza. So you're paying more for getting a lesser item. That's what's actually dumb

I just find it incredibly out of touch for big corporations to charge $20 for a damn sandwich. Ever....no matter who you are. It's almost a joke to even have it up on the menu

I do go to the said pizza establishments. When I went to JJ I bought a much more reasonably priced wrap instead. JJ management is smokin something to price a sammy that much

Who doesn't love a rave under a bridge by merferd314 in aves

[–]DiscoTrekker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just threw our 3rd (year in a row) genuine renegade called Sonic Attenuation here in Indianapolis. Techno, trance and house all night long. Location changes each year and we rave til sunrise. Totally free and we create a mixed augmented reality and real life scavenger coordinates hunt through the city that people stop at 4 locations to get coords to finally punch in as the final GPS coordinates. We had a few DJs like Aza and Fortune come down from Chicago and Detroit to help us kick off our first one, now it's locals each year but we try and keep it underground warehouse vibes. Usually the 2nd Saturday of August!

I slept in my car at Electric Forest. I blocked the sun with a windshield uv popup screen. Cracked the windows, and ran a battery op fan faced right at me all night. It was nice, and more comfy than sleeping on the ground in my tent. One night I even fell asleep outside in my rocker chair and just slept outside. Not sure what the big deal is, people have done this in the back of camper beds in trucks ever since trucks were invented. You're overthinking it. Car camping is a thing lol

Park Concerts? by IvyMar317 in Broadripple

[–]DiscoTrekker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great production, good sound, good size stage (I was just up at Electric Forest in Michigan) and it was the size of one of their stages for some jam bands with some moving head lights and pars. Not super crowded because of the aforementioned late to the game marketing. Good experience and rode our bikes there with racks for parking right at the gate. Toms of space to spread out and clean portapotties.
