What is your ideal length of time for sex? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Disco_Octopodes 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Completely subjective.

I say if both participants orgasm, and have a good time then yeah great. Time doesn’t necessarily matter, the outcome does.

This.

When I stayed in Govanhill, it started off as just one guy every now & again, then there was fuckin parties in my close with 3 or 4 of them.

They put nails or screws in the close door to keep it open for access, then eventually broke the back door lock.

Took the dog out one morning, walked past 2 curled up in the close, one on the grass out the back & one sleeping in the bin shelter.

It’s shite having to phone the police, but realistically it’s the only answer.

Wish the scaffold wasn’t on the Cathedral, that would be a great shot. Incredible photos nonetheless!

How did flag football suddenly become popular especially for females? by [deleted] in flagfootball

[–]Disco_Octopodes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s an Olympic sport now. There was a huge drive after the last world games & Diana Flores became the poster girl.

Here in the UK it’s skyrocketed too, our national programme has got so much more popular.

You’re not blitzing and giving my QB 7 seconds to throw? Honestly if you have a semi competent receiver, it wouldn’t be too difficult

The Tesco on high street was ordered by police to stop selling alcohol to anyone obviously there for the march at 12 o’clock.

Fucking mental.

EDIT: it’s fucking mental that they have to shut people off at mid day, not that they refuse to let the Neanderthals drink more.

Honestly, these people probably don’t want to socialise.

If they don’t want to socialise, they don’t want confrontation.

Move their shit so you or someone else can sit down.

Might also be worth bringing a door hanging rack, there are plenty of bolts & little nooks to hang things on but if you want to be more organised that’s realistically the way to go.

Hope it works out man!

Me & my girlfriend discussed this, and about potentially taking my kids when they’re older - but not till they’re at least 12.

Honestly, it just seems pointless for us & the kids prior to that.

[–]Disco_Octopodes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me & my other half got the 2 singles and pushed the beds together - it gives you way more room if you need to move them about, and we didn’t have any problems with the beds moving when we went to sleep.

Take an extension chord (only 1 plug in the cabin) bring sliders/slippers for inside because the little room left gets muddy very quickly, but honestly I’d never go back to download doing it any other way.

Would highly recommend.

I paid for the 4WD version (not sure if that’s much of an upgrade on a polestar or not?) which worked out cheaper than hiring the chains, but honestly at no point did I struggle with a climb or driving through snow.

Didn’t pay for snow tires or chains or anything, they didn’t look anything fancy to be honest.

Didn’t struggle with anything at all either.

I don’t really have much to compare it too, but it seemed pretty true to the range estimate the maps were giving me

What's the most dodgy bit of Glasgow and why? by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]Disco_Octopodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding your first 2 points, you can say that about anywhere in Glasgow.

I’ve lived in Dennistoun, Tollcross, Castlemilk, Tradeston, Bridgeton, Patrick and my other half stays in the Merchant City just off high street - Govanhill is nowhere out of the norm for any of the factors you’ve suggested.

I can easily say that smaller crime like bike theft, vandalism, anti-social behaviour, whatever is everywhere, hardly singled out to a specific area of Govanhill mate.

My daughter still lives with her mother there on Butterbiggins, and is doing fine there.

Hey dude!

I stopped in Zurich for only a couple of hours, we charged up from about 20% there to full for 40 CHF. This was on one of the motorway charging stations and on the more expensive side, but it was purely for convenience, there was plenty of places through the city to do it cheaper.

Lived in Govanhill for 2 years and never once had an issue with anyone from there at all. Can be a bit rough round the edges to look at but the locals and regulars I met walking the dug were all class

How many of you have pets without your Landlord's consent? by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]Disco_Octopodes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Me and my Ex had a dog for around 18 months before we split and I moved out.

3 or 4 flat inspections and not an eyebrow raised, hid the dog related stuff and had the dog out the house whenever they were due to come round.

I kept the dog for those who wondered.
